USER GUIDE
1.Login
Once the installation of Investmentz app is complete, you will need to create your login
credentials by completing the First Time Login .You would have received your client
code in an email from Investmentz.
1.1.First Time Login
Step 1: Click on First Time Login highlighted in the image below.

Step 2: You will have to enter the UCC (unique client code) which you would have
received in an email from Investmentz.. After entering UCC you are required to enter
the registered mobile number on which you will receive a 6 digit OTP as shown in the
image below:

Step 3 : Enter the 6 digit OTP which you have received on your registered mobile
number. The OTP will be valid for 3 minutes(180 seconds)

Step 4 : Investmentz allow its users to create their own Login Id. A password needs to
be set by you, which should be 8-15 string Alphanumeric, you have to re-enter the
same password for confirmation. As you can see investmentz has a secure login for
which it follows 2 factor authentication. You have to enter a 4 digit M-Pin which will
be asked to you every time you login in Investmentz. Look at the image below:

Step 5 : After entering the required fields a successful message will pop up as shown
in the image below:

Step 6: After completing the First Time Login process, you can login to the
Investmentz App, where you have to enter the Login Id and password which was
created by you in First Time Login process and click on Login. Look at the image
below

Step 7: As an authentication measure, you now have to enter the 4 digit M-Pin which
was created in First Time Login process and after entering the M-Pin in the required
field.

1.2.Forgot Password?
If you’ve entered your password or M-pin incorrectly 3 times and you try logging
with the incorrect details for the 4th time, your account will be blocked. You can reset
your password by following the steps mentioned below:
Step 1 : Click on Forgot your password? shown in the image below:

Step 2 : Enter the login id and the registered mobile number and click on arrow as
shown in the image below:

Step 3 : You will receive 6 digit OTP on the Registered mobile number which you
need to enter in the given space.The OTP will be valid for 3 minutes (180 seconds).

Step 4 : You can now create a new 8-15 string alphanumeric password. For
confirmation you have to re-enter the password
.

Step 5 : A confirmation message will pop up on creating a new password successfully.

1.3.Forgot M-pin?
If you have forgotten the 2 Factor Authentication M-Pin you will not be able to login.
You can reset your M-PIN by following the steps mentioned below:
Step 1 : Click on Forgot M-Pin? As shown in the image below.

Step 2 : After clicking on forgot M-pin you will be asked to enter the Login id and
the Registered mobile number as shown in the image below :

Step 3: You will receive 6 digit OTP on the Registered mobile number which you
need to enter in the given space. The OTP will be valid for 3 minutes (180 seconds).

Step 4 : You can now create a new M-Pin. For confirmation you have to re-enter the
M-Pin.

2.Menu :-
User will have access to all important links from the menu. By clicking on Holdings
you will get all information of your holdings. By clicking on activity log you will get
to know all the activities which you have performed that are buy, sell and modified.
By clicking on add funds you can add funds and BOI clients can lien and unlien their
stocks. By clicking on withdraw funds you can withdraw funds from your trading
account. By clicking on Report you will get access to all your reports.Refer the image
given below for the menu:

3.Marketwatch
A market watch is the screen where you can add items from
stocks/commodities/F&O/currencies and track live prices of the same.You can use
these watchlists to monitor specific stocks that you are interested in, across different
sectors and industries. You can click on the scrips in the market watch to see other
details of a scrip instead of just Price and Percentage Change.
3.1.Add Scrips
You can create new watchlists and add scrips into them in the following manner:
Step 1 : To create a new watchlist, click on “Folder”.

Step 2: Type the name of the Watchlist and click on Submit.

Step 3: In the next page you will find Stocks and Currency
Click on one of them and write the name of the stock in the search bar. Select the
stocks you wish to add.
For example, to add the Tatacoffee scrip, click on Stock in the header panel. Type the
scrip name, then select the Tatacoffee scrip and click on add button.

Step 4: Click on “+” to add new scrips in the existing watchlist.

3.2.Delete Scrips
You can delete the watchlist by clicking the delete icon next to it.

3.3.Buy/Sell scrips from Watchlist
Click on the scrip in the watchlist to view the detail scrip page.

You can buy/sell from this page by clicking Buy or Sell as shown in the image above.

4 Global Search
Click on the search icon to search

On Search page you can search for the Stock, indices

When you swipe left you can directly buy or sell the scrip.

5.Default scrip
Investmentz also have default scrips of Index,Stock and Currency from where they
can trade without adding the scrips to the watchlist.Refer to the images below:

6.Order Placement
Clicking on the scrip, will lead you to the scrip detail window where you can select
the exchange in which you wish to buy and on clicking buy and sell button from this
window, you will be directed to the order placement page
This page gives you information about the Market Depth and Statistics of the Scrip.

Order Placement Page
By clicking on the arrow form the trade page the user can go to the market depth of
the scrip.Click on the bell icon to go in the activity log

Select Order Type
Limit (LMT) order
Place buy or sell order at a predetermined price
Market (MKT) order
Place an order to be bought or sold at the best available price
Stop loss and Stop loss (Market) order
Stop loss if placing a predetermined loss booking order at a trigger price.
Trigger -if using this type of order to enter a fresh buy above the current market price or sell
below the current market price when the trigger price is hit.
SL- if limit order to be sent when trigger is hit. SL-M if a market order to be sent when
trigger is hit. For guaranteed execution, always use SL-M.
Trigger price should not be greater than or equal to actual price for SL buy order
Trigger price should not be less than or equal to actual price for SL sell order

Select Time in Force
Day – Day orders for orders to be valid till end of day (selected by default)
IOC (Immediate or cancel) – In IOC, all or part of the order are executed
immediately and the unfilled parts of the order are cancelled.
Put the quantity, price and disclosed quantity and then click on trade button. You will
get a order confirmation message. You can check your order status in the Alerts
Section.

7. Order Book
Order book shows pending orders.Access the order book by clicking on position
given in the footer
By clicking on the edit icon of the scrip the user can modify the Trade.
By clicking on the Icon the user can go to the order detail page.

8. Cancel Order
Update or cancel pending orders can be done by clicking on particular order in the
order book.
The below screen appears where you can either update your order, by creating a
modification in any of the order fields, or cancel the order.

9. Net Position
As we trade, it becomes essential for us to monitor our positions regularly.
With Investmentz this is a piece of cake. Just tap on Net Position and you will be
directed to a screen which shows you all your positions. View net positions by
clicking on “Position” icon on the footer panel .By clicking on the arrow the user can
got to the order detail screen.If the user wants to square off the position the user can
click on square off button.

10. Trade Book
Trade book shows all your executed orders. View trade book by clicking on
“Position” icon on the footer panel.
By clicking on the arrow the user can see the trade details.

11.Conversion
From trade book the user will have to click on the details of the scrip and a popup will
be asked for conversion of the scrip.Refer to the image below:

12. Activity Log
Access the Activity tab from any window by clicking on the icon on the top right
corner of the header panel. In Activity Log there are three sections – order, corporate
action and exchange message. Order tab shows order updates – completed, confirmed,
cancelled, rejected and modified. Corporate action and exchange message will give
you all the messages related to Corporate action and Exchange.

13. My Account
My Account page gives information of your investments all transactions during the
statement period. For example, you can confirm how many shares are held in your
account.You will also see a summary of the income produced by each security.Your
account statement will also tell you the market value of securities you own – at the
beginning and end of the period covered. My Account gives us detail information of
fund available and utilized in trading account account.
Click on My Account from the Menu

13.1 Today’s Account Value
Today’s account value gives the information about buying power, shares
valuation,collateral value,intraday payin,FNO collateral value and Today’s holding
sell valuation.
1.Buying Power
Buying power shows the total cash available to the trading account. If the user will
transfer money from bank account to trading account today then it will reflect in
Intraday payin table and next day it will be added in the buying power if not
utilized.Cash present in ledger will be displayed in buying power.
2. Shares Valuation
Share valuation shows total value of the share available in the holdings as per
previous day’s closing price as per BSE.

3.Collateral Value
Collateral Value is the market value of equity shares used as collateral to support a
loan or margin.
4.Intraday Payin
Intraday payin shows today’s transferred amount from bank account to Trading
account. For Example if a client transferred 1000 Rs. to his trading account then it
will be reflected in intraday payin.
5. FNO Collateral Value
Collateral Value is the market value of FNO share used as collateral to support a loan
or margin.

13.2 Margin Available
This table gives the information of available and utilized MIS, CNC and FNOC
margin.
1. Carry Forward Limit CNC (Cash and Carry)
Carry forward limit CNC is the manual limit given by RMS Department. If the client is using
CNC to Buy/sell of shares then that shares can be carry forward. In carry forward limit CNC
Buying power and intraday limit will be included.
2. Margin Utilized CNC
Margin Utilized CNC shows the CNC margin utilized by the client on that particular day. This can
be also seen under “margin utilized details” tab.

3. Margin Available CNC
Margin Available CNC shows available CNC( Cash and Carry) margin in trading
account
4. Intraday Limit
Intraday limit is the limit given by the RMS Department for intraday trading (MIS).
This limit is valid only for a particular day and at the end of the day share will be auto
squared off.
5. Margin Utilized MIS
Margin Utilized MIS shows the MIS margin utilized by the client on that particular
day.
6. Margin Available MIS (Margin Intraday Square Off)
Margin available MIS shows available MIS margin in trading account
7. FNO Collateral Value
Collateral Value is the market value of FNO shares used as collateral to support a loan
or margin.
8. Margin Utilized FNOC
Margin Utilized FNOC shows the FNOC margin utilized by the client on that
particular day.
9. Margin Available FNOC
Margin Available FNOC shows available FNO margin in trading account.
10. Today’s Realized P/L
Today’s realized profit/loss is profit of the closed position on that particular trading
day. Realized profit is usually already deposited into the trader's trading account, and
can be withdrawn from their trading account to a bank account. Realized profit/loss is
included in the account balance in trading account statements, and is often shown on

trading software as a daily profit/loss that is reset to zero at the beginning of each
trading day After market close. if any position is standing that will come under
Today’s Realized P/L.
13.3 Today’s P/L
This table shows today’s realized and unrealized profit and loss.
1. Today’s Realized P/L-
Today’s realized profit/loss is profit/loss of the closed position on that particular day.
Realized profit/loss is usually already deposited into the trader's trading account, and
can be withdrawn from their trading account to a bank account. Realized profit/loss is

2. Today’s Unrealized P/L
Unrealized profit/loss is profit/loss that comes from a currently active trade (i.e. a
trade that has not yet been exited). Unrealized profit/loss will change with each price
change, so it can be reduced to zero (or become an unrealized loss) at any time.
Unrealized profit/loss becomes realized profit/loss at the moment that a trade is
exited.

13.4 Margin Utilized Detail
Margin Utilized detail gives the information about equity hair cut (MIS) 20%, Equity
CNC utilized, options premium, total margin,span margin, exposure margin, adhoc
margin 4% and today’s P/L.
1. Equity Hair Cut (MIS) 20%-
Equity hair cut shows the MIS margin utilized by the client in equity which will be
20 % of every order value.
Example- If product type is selected as MIS and value of equity 20 Rs. then only 4 Rs.
will deduct from available MIS margin.

2. Equity CNC Utilized-
Equity CNC utilized is CNC margin utilized by the client in equity.
3. Option Premium-
It is the total value of option.
4. Total Margin-
It is the sum of span margin, exposure margin and adhoc margin.
5. Span Margin-
SPAN margin is an initial margin which is calculated on the basis of the risk and
volatility of the underlying. The SPAN margin for a particular security keeps
changing from time to time based on the volatility of the underlying. At end of every
trading day, brokers are required to collect margin payable against open positions
either on the buy side or on the sell side from its clients.
6. Exposure Margin
Exposure margin is the margin charged over and above the SPAN margin. The
exchange asks brokers to make certain security available to it in the form of cash,
bank guarantee or shares to safeguard against any default of payment against positions
taken on a particular day.
7. ADHOC Margin 4%
The Sebi-prescribed Adhoc margins are imposed on brokers with very large position
overall or in specific low price stocks which are illiquid.

14. Logout
User can logout from the Menu or by pressing the back button of the mobile.Refer to
the images given below:
