    Goals

    Students will be able to identify the capital of India

    Students will be able to identify the government of India as well as political figures

    Students will be able to research the teenage culture of India

    Students will be able to observe the diversity of India as it relates to religion, climate, people,landscape and language

    ObjectivesStudents will create a power point presentation of India. The presentation is designed toinform the students of the country of and many aspects of the Indian Culture which are oftenoverlooked in many textbooks.

    Lesson Outline This project may be done individually or students may be put into groups of2-3 students to complete the presentation.

    Introduction

    You (and your colleagues) have been chosen by the Tourism Industry in India to design apower point presentation reflecting the beauty and uniqueness of India. The purpose of thebillboard is to inform Americans about the country as well as attract more tourists from theUnited States. Your firm will be completing a power point presentation for the IndianTourism Committee centered out of Madurai. This will determine whether or not your firm willbe contracted for the advertising.

    Activities

    Create a power point of India that will include the following:

    1. a map of India denoting its capital city2. type of money3. type of government4. important governmental leaders5. tourist attractions6. economy7. religion8. climate9. physical landscape
