The third edition of India’s largest international engineering sourcing show will open on 22 January 2014 in Mumbai. Organised by the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India, with EEPC India as the lead agency, the third India Engineering Sourcing Show (IESS) 2014 will expand its ambit to include a whole range of business services and a special show on cutting-edge technology.
IESS 2014 is an essentially a partnership event and aims at developing business tie-ups between Indian and overseas companies. Meet over 400 Indian companies showcasing the best of Indian products and technologies and explore business partnerships with over 10,000 Indian trade visitors at the show.
In our third year...we have technology transfers, sub-contracting, joint ventures and much more.

Looking back at IESS 2013: A successful second edition
IESS 2013 was inaugurated by, left top the Indian Minister for Commerce, Industry & Textiles, Mr Anand Sharma (middle), Mr Martin Kuba, Minister for Industry & Trade, the Czech Republic (right) and Mr Aman Chadha, Chairman, EEPC India. The three day exhibition had more than 300 exhibitors from India and all over the world. International country pavilions were from Czech Republic, France, Japan, South Africa, Thailand and Yemen. Australia, Canada and Hungary also sent their exhibitors.
Indian Central and State Governments had impressive partici-pation and exhibitors included Department of Heavy Industries, Indian Army, (DGQA) Ministry of Defence, Governments of Madhya Pradesh, Punjab and Rajasthan, Maharashtra Indus-trial Development Corporation, The National Small Industries
Corporation Ltd, Rail Wheel Factory (Ministry of Railways),
MMTC Ltd., and the Indian Space & Research Organisation.
Top Indian corporates included Bajaj Electricals Limited, Birla
Ericsson Optical Limited, Finolex Cables Ltd, HPL India Ltd,
Jindal Steel & Power Limited, JSW Steel Ltd, Mahindra World
City, etc.
India and the Czech Republic attach a great deal of signifi-cance to their bilateral partnership. This was confirmed again
by the fact that the Czech Republic participated as the Partner
Country in IESS 2013. According to the Minister of Industry and
Trade of the Czech Republic, Mr M Kuba, the participation of
the Czech Republic in IESS 2013 was an unprecedented step
forward in forging bilateral economic and commercial relations.
The Czech Republic brought about 100 business delegates.
The focus sectors for the Czech Republic were Heavy Machin-
ery, Auto, Defence, Energy and Science & Technology. Exhibit-
ing with Czech small and medium companies were Czech
multinational companies like Vitkovice Machinery Group and
the Skoda Group.

Results of the show
As many as 226 companies provided complete or major details regarding their impression of the exhibition. An analysis of the responses shows that 10,539 contacts were made and 10 orders were signed on the spot. At least 43 agents were appointed during the three-day show. The respondents received 418 business enquiries – the value of the business enquiries being US$38.03 million. More than 70 percent of the respondents felt their experience at IESS 2013 was satisfactory, good or excellent

c. For bigger stalls, the conditions will be different.
Surcharge on corner booths will be 10% extra. Corner booths are limited in number and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis after full payment is received.
PaymentPlease pay 50% of the full amount as booking fee along with the application by 31 October 2013.
Space will be booked only after full payment is made.
EEPC India will decide on eligibility and space allocation.
CancellationNo refund if booking is cancelled.

EEPC India will help participants find airlines and hotels in Mumbai at negotiated rates through accredited travel agents. Participants are however free to make their own travel/hotel bookings.
