ARMY RECRUITMENT RALLY, AM BALA· : Army Recruiting Office, Ambala Cantt is conducting Army Recruitment Rally from 04 Apr to 13 Apr 2018 for the category.of Soldier General Duty (GD) and Soldier Clerk/Store Keeper Technical for candidates of districts of Ambala, Kaithal, Kamal, Kurukshetra, Yamunanagar, Panchkula and Chandigarh (UT) at Maharishi Markandeshwar University, Mullana, Barara, Ambala. Online registration is being carried for this rally. Candidates can visit Army Recruitment Site for information on educational, physical, medical criteria for the rally. Online registration will be open from 09 Feb 2018 to 25 Mar 2018. Interested candidates can apply through army recruitment site www.joinindianarmy.nic.in. Candidates can download their admit cards from 27 MAR 2018 onwards. Candidates will be called District/Tehsil wise for the rally between 04 Apr 18 to 13 Apr 18, and exact date and time for reporting for the respective District/Tehsil will be given out on their admit card. Candidates are also advised to check the details on their admit cards for any last minute changes in venue, date and time of the rally from ARO, Ambala and reach recruitment site on time.

All candidates belonging to Relaxation categories will also attend the rally on the date given for their District/Tehsil. Only online registered candidates can take part· in rally. All candidates will download their admit cards with clear printed bar code.

Instructions for Online Registration :- All candidates should check Eligibility, prepare all documents and understand steps for online registration in army recruitment site. Candidates should fill Haryana (Ambala) and Ambala in the option for ZRO and ARO. Nothing can be edited/changed in any circumstances once candidate saves his online registration. Therefore candidates are advised to fill all the information carefully. Incorrect details, re­registration/double registration or wrong information including photographs will lead to cancellation of candidature. Suitable action under IPC/IT Act 2000 will also be initiated. Candidates are advised to fill all details including correct address and AADHAR number. Candidates will also provide a correct email address and mobile number, which shall be kept operational during the current recruitment process. Army will not be responsible for any information not being received by the candidate due to the above/technical reasons.

2. Physical Fitness Test during Rally.

(a) 1.6 Km Run.

(b) Pull Ups (Minimum 6).

(c) 9 Feet ditch Jump.

(d) Zig-Zag Balance.

Note:

(a) Details of timings and marks in various test is given on the web site. Candidates are advised to check in detail before coming for the rally.

(b) Gate will open at 0200 hrs and will close at 0500 hrs in the morning for rally. Run will start at 0300 hrs in the morning.

(c) All candidates will bring their admit card, Aadhar Card and all related documents subjected to preliminary document check, identity check etc. and will be rejected if any document/admit card not found in order without stating any reason.

(d) All candidates arriving will be asked to go through the height bar and there by, candidate with lesser height will be eliminated and will not be allowed to participate in further process of the recruitment. This is in addition to height measurement to be held during physical measurement test.

3. Educational Qualification, Age & Physical Standards are given below :-

Note : (i) Only one relaxation can be availed. (ii) Bonus marks will be accorded only on passing CEE.

(ii) Only one ward of SOS/SOEX/SOW/SOWW can avail bonus marks in written examination.

(iii) Relaxation and bonus marks will be permissible and allotted only on production and deposition of certificates at the rally site. In case of certificates not being verified on time. Bonus Marks will not be allotted and the responsibility will not rest with the recruitment/Army authorities.

* Candidates who are NCC 'C' cert holders and have participated in Republic Day Parade will be exempted from CEE for rect into Sol Clk/SKT and will be awarded 100% marks in lieu of CEE.

5. Medical Examination. Medical examination will be conducted for all successful candidates after Physical Fitness Test, Physical Measurement Test and Document check. Candidates are advised to get their ears cleaned for wax and have proper hair cut, shaving, bathing before coming for medical examination. Candidates suffering from various heart diseases and respiratory diseases are advised not to participate in rally.

(a) Remedial medical treatment to meet medical standards for recruitment, if required, is to be undertaken prior to recruiting process.

(b) Candidates found fit at Rally will be declared 'RALLY FIT'. Candidates noted/suspected by Recruiting Medical Officer to be having any disability will be referred to a specialist at the MH. Candidate will report to the MH as per date given at rally site.

(c) All medical examinations at MH will be completed on the same day but not later than 14 days.

(d) No candidates will be marked as Temporary Unfit (TUF) or Permanent Unfit (PUF) during the rally.

(e) Candidate not reporting on due date will be marked as absent and no further chance or representation will be considered.

(f) No appeal can be tendered once the review medical board has given its decision.

(g) Note. Candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot, va'ricose vein or squint in eyes etc and many other disease. They must be in good mental and physical health for duties in all places including in high altitude. and be fit to serve in border areas with extreme climatic conditions and must be free from any defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.

(h) Medical Fit Candidates. Medically fit candidates will be issued Admit Card for Common Entrance Examination (CEE) at Rally site or at Recruiting Office location at Ambala Gantt on a given date. Candidate absent for collection of Admit Card will be marked as absent.

6. Common Entrance Examination (CEE). Common Entrance Examination (CEE) will be conducted at Ambala Gantt for all the successful candidates in Physical Fitness Test, Physical Measurement Test, Medical Examination & Document Check. Candidates are advised to arrive on time at the venue. Candidates arriving late will not be allowed to take the exam.

7. Common Entrance Examination.

(a) The candidates to qualify in all events before the common entrance exam will be issued a Admit card. Any candidate found absent during issue of admit cards at given place and time will be deemed as absent and will not be allowed to take any further exam/test.

(b) All candidates will be briefed about CEE and its scheme during issue of admit cards.

(c) Any candidate absent from the CEE will be marked as absent and no further chance would be provided.

(d) The duration of the exam will be of one hour. For wrong answers provided, marks will be deducted. No marks will be awarded for unattempted answer. Exam will be based on OMR system.

(e) CEE is likely to be held on 27 May 18 and 29 Jul 18 for nominated categories.

8. Necessary Documents for Recruitment Rally (Original with three self attested photocopies) and 15 x passport size (3.5x4.5cm) colour photographs of good quality.

(a) Original Certificate/Mark sheet of Matric/10+2 or higher education from Recognized Education Board.

(b) Candidates studied from Open School are required to produce transfer cert (TC) or School Leaving Certificate of class ath19th duly countersigned by the respective District Education Officer and Block Elementary Education Officer to authenticate its correctness.

(c) Bonafide Domicile/Residence Certificate and Caste Certificate with photograph duly signed and issued by Tehsilder/SDM.

(d) Sikh & Sikh (Majahabi & Ramadasia) candidates will produce Religion/Minority and Caste certificate ie SIKH and Sub-Caste Certificate. Minority/Caste Certificate of their father duly signed and issued by Tehsildar/SDM and SC/ST certificate will also be deposited.

(e) Gorkha candidates are required to produce caste certificate signed and issued by SOM I Tehsildar I Naib Tehsildar alongwith sub caste certificate issued by Indian Gorkha Association.

(f) Caste certificate duly signed and issued by SOM I Tehsildar I Naib tehsildar if candidate belongs to SC I ST I OBC I SBC etc in original.

(g) Character Certificate duly signed by sarpanch I MC within 6 months with photograph.

(h) School Character Certificate issued by the Schools/Colleges Principal/Headmaster.

(j) Candidates aged below 21 years should bring unmarried certificate duly signed by self, parents/guardian & countersigned by village sarpanch.

(k) Wards of Servicemen/Ex-Servicemen/Widows/War Widows have. to produce I Original Relation Certificate with photographs. issued by Chief Record Officer/Senior Records Officer. Candidates will also produce affidavit as per given format.

(I) Sports certificates alongwith Gradation Certificate from Director Department of Sports & Youth Affairs, Haryana should not be more than two years old from the date of rally. "No bonus marks will be allotted to any sports certificate without Gradation Certificate issued by concerned district sports officer I Director, Department of Sports & Youth Affairs, Haryana". Supporting Certificate will also be deposited :-

(i) Represented India at International Level. (ii) Represented State at National Level. (iii) Represented District at State Level. (iv) Represented University Team or Regional Team at District Level.

Note. For sportsmen who have represented district teams at State level or University teams/Regional teams at district level are eligible physical relaxation and bonus marks only if they have achieved 1 st12nd posn in the tournament/co_mpetition.

(m) NCC certificate holders should produce original certificate.

(n) O+ level computer certificate issued by the DOEACC for Sol Clk/SKT, if any.

(o) Candidates below the age of 18 years should bring the certificate duly signed by the parents/guardians and attested by village sarpanch stating that "I am sending my son Name Date of birth for recruitment in Army on my own interest and there is no objection on him joining the Army. I shall not ask for any compensation due to any injury/illness sustained by my son during screening".

(p) Affidavit duly signed by the candidates on the non judicial stamp paper duly attested by a Notary as per given format. Affidavit should be typed. Hand written affidavit will not be accepted. Format is given and can also be downloaded from site.

(q) Aadhar Card should be original.

(r) Birth certificate.

(s) Ration Card.

(t) PAN Card and Bank details only for selected candidates.

(u) Police clearance certificate only for selected candidates.

Note.

(i) All necessary documents should be brought in original at the rally site and should have two attested photocopies of the same.

(ii) Candidates not having requisite certificates liable to be rejected. A candidate who fails to produce a certificate or makes a false statement regarding gaining any kind of benefits will be rejected· straight way, for submitting false information for taking undue benefit.

(iii) Certificate with overwriting or tampering of seals or erasing any documents will not be accepted.

(iv) School leaving certificate is compulsory for open school candidates.

(v) Documents mentioned above are required in original alongwith two photocopy of each document duly attested by Principal/Headmaster/Gazetted Rank Officer. Attested photocopy /printout of education certificate obtained from the internet duly attested by the school Principal will be accepted at the rally site for candidates whose original certificates have not been received from the concerned education board after declaration of the result or for candidates who have deposited their certificates in some other institute where they might be undergoing some professional course.

9. Instructions:-

(a) Only online registered candidates can take part in this rally.

(b) Candidates can take print out their admit card through registered ID to take part in the rally. Admit card should print out black & white on A 4 size paper with clear printed "BAR CODE".

(c) Candidates are allowed to take part in only one category during recruitment rally.

(d) Married candidates below 21 years are not eligible for Sol GD.

(e) Certificates with over writing I cutting I tampering the stamp or unclear certificate will not be accepted. Producing of fake certificate is an offence will be dealt severely.

(f) Candidates using unfair means will be disqualified and punitive action will be taken against them.

(g) Recruitment is purely based on merit list depending on available vacancies. Candidates do not have any right to claim on recruitment in Arniy just for passing in recruitment process or being placed in merit list.

(h) Candidates are not allowed to leave the rally site once allowed to enter. They are advised to bring their own snacks/food as required. Bags should be easily identifiable and contain name and mobile number of candidates.

0) Candidate or Father/Mother/relative of candidate will not have any rights for claiming compensation or to hold Indian Govt I Indian Army I HQ recruiting Zone, Ambala Gantt I Army Recruiting Office, Ambala Gantt responsible for any injury, death, disease or disability suffered during the various physical tests undergone by the candidate at the time of recruitment. All candidates will be appearing for various tests in their own interests and at their own risk.

(k) Candidates are liable to be screened for use of physical enhancing drugs during rally. If found using or in possession or for any instigation/abutment the candidature will be cancelled immediately without assigning any reason and strict legal action may be taken.

(I) Use of Mobile phones or electronic device are NOT allowed inside the Rally site & Written Exam premises. Candidates are liable to be frisked at the gate and confiscated if found in possession.

(m) Suggestion and complaint on recruitment can be submitted in writing by candidate through suggestion box held with Grievance Cell or at Army Recruiting Office, Ambala Gantt.

(n) All candidates are advised to maintain good personal hygiene and should have shaved and taken a proper haircut of all body hair and ears should be free from wax.

(o) Sikh candidate's photograph will be taken with and without patka I headgear, hence they are advised to carry headgear I patka.

(p) All candidates will carry Aadhar Card as a identity proof for entry during rally.

FUNDAMENTAL RIGHTS:- Every candidate who is participating for enrolment in Indian Army should be aware, that his fundamental rights as per constitution of India will be curtailed according to Section 21 of Army Act 1950 and Army Rule 19, 20 & 21 (1954). An undertaken is to be taken by all selected candidates in recruitment rally, that their fundamental rights are curtailed as per Army Act 1950.

These instructions are only guidelines and not exhaustive.
