Duration of the contract would be for two years, extendable by one year. 1. Admission & Program Officer - (one) Job Profile 1. Provide administrative support to the Chairperson of Admissions in framing admission policies for various programmes. 2. Marketing of various programmes such as MBA, Doctoral, MDP, and other programmes. 3. Processing applications for various programmes of the institute. 4. Coordinate with other IIMS in the conduct of the Common Admissions Test (CAT). 5. Processing test results, preparing shortlist of candidates for group discussions, interviews, interview scores, final list of selected candidates. 6. Communicate and follow up with selected candidates in the form of offer of admission letters, timeline of payment of tuition and adherence to deadlines in related matters. 7. Any other function related to admissions to the institute as assigned by competent authorities such hostel management, fee collection, etc., 8. Prepare materials for various programmes, market such programmes, and follow up with prospective industry leaders for programmes like MDPs. 9. Supervise and manage the staff working in admissions and programme office. Qualifications 1. At least a Bachelor’s degree in any field related to business and management, preferably with a post-graduate degree such as MBA or MA or M.Sc., with high level of IT literacy. PG in English or Journalism or Management would be advantageous but not mandatory. 2. At least two or three years of experience in admissions in any prestigious educational institution, preferably IIMs/IITs or experience working IIM environment. Required and Desired Skills In addition to the educational and experience requirements referred to above, the candidates must have proficiency in: 1. Excellent command of written and oral skills in English. 2. Excellent planning and organizing skills. 3. Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word. 4. Ability to analyse and interpret data related to admissions. 5. Ability to prepare various reports for internal and external stakeholders. 6. Familiarity with government norms for reservations in various categories. 7. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with prospective students, industry professionals, and peers; 8. Good time management skills and ability to handle multiple tasks with tight deadlines. 9. Ability to work during weekends, evenings, or off-site locations is a must. 10. Ability to travel as and when needed.

Remuneration

1. Consolidated monthly remuneration based on qualifications and experience.

2. Travel, if required, will be reimbursed according to institute norms.

3. The position is a contractual position and does not carry any other allowances or benefits. The

initial contract will be for a period of three years, renewable on a year-to-year basis based on

institutional needs and satisfactory discharge of duties.

4. The position is eligible for sick leave, personal leave, and annual leave as per institute norms

for contractual employees.
