ISCS - A Profile

Indira School of Career Studies was

founded as an autonomous professional

school to meet the growing needs of the

business sector in the aftermath of the

liberalization policy adopted by the Indian

Govt. in 1991. The greater influx of

multinational companies into India in the

past few years has created an environment

where managers have to face greater

situational challenges, predict and handle

the vagaries of the market and provide

better quality products and services. TQM,

SCM, ISO, E-commerce etc. are no longer

buzzwords but have become essential

elements of an organization's policy if it has

to survive in today's business environment.

Such an environment requires professional

graduates not only armed with the

necessary knowledge but also confident of

facing the extremely competitive scenario.

ISCS’s Career & Leadership Development

Program, the PGP, is focussed on

developing professional, leadership and

entrepreneurial skills of the candidates.

The flexibility afforded to the PGP program

keeps the student abreast of the latest

trends in the field of business and ensures

quality manpower for Indian industry in

these challenging times.

From The Chairperson's Desk

As the nation gets ready to wriggle out of the

crippling recession and debilitating slowdown, we

realise that, for the younger generation, this is the

time to update their knowledge and skills so that

they can be ready for the coming boom. All

indications are that the happy days of a couple of

years ago are not too far. But we need to be

prepared for it if we want to measure upto its

demand for sharper skills in marketing, human

resource, operations or any other area of

Management.

This is exactly what the Indira School of Career

Studies equips you with - cutting edge knowledge

that keeps you in touch with today, and more

importantly, with the tools that will come in handy

tomorrow in your careers.

India is certainly going places in the coming few

years as scores of monitoring agencies and

international organizations studying trends in

growth worldwide have already predicted.

Obviously, the world is ready for the moment when

India takes centre stage. The question is : Are we?

We in India need to be ready with our manpower

skills and tools to bring in the golden age of India

back for all of us to share.

Group Director's Message

Page 9: Indira School of Career Studies

The fact that India matters economically and

politically on the world scene is a foregone

conclusion. The question is how to sustain this status

in the long run. The strength of a nation is not just its

gold and foreign exchange reserves or its military

might but the quality of its Human resources.

Education plays an important part in this. Not just

any education, but one which is relevant to the

world of business and industry. At Indira School of

Career Studies, we strive to impart the right mix of

knowledge and skill sets to our students to enable

them to take on the challenges in the corporate

world.

Our focus is on developing four “A” s of our students -

Aptitude, Attitude, Articulation and Awareness. We

call it the 'Indira Advantage'!

We are supported in this effort by faculty members

with a record of excellence in academia and industry

in equal measure. The programs are conducted in

our ultra modern campus having some of the finest

facilities for co curricular and extra curricular

activities.

I invite you to come and experience the “Indira

Advantage” and transform yourself!
