    CONCEPTUAL MODEL

    INTENDED USE OF RESEARCH OUTCOMES

The research outcome is intended to be used by experts in the fields of supply chain,

e-commerce and also by leaders in the same domain to understand the effect of e-

commerce on supply chain, to work on undesirable effects and to leverage the desirable

effects to the benefit of the organization.

    RESEARCH METHOD

The research method will consist of a mix of a quantitative survey and a qualitative

data collection. Therefore, the method of data collection will consist of a quality

questionnaire to all the supply chain managers, experts and operations managers etc. The

qualitative part consists of data being collected from various retailers in the retail industry

    SAMPLE PROCEDURE

Regarding the online questionnaire I will use a non-random sample. Since, the retailers I get

data from and the supply chain experts I get the answers from must be in sync, I would use

    non- random sampling.
