GREENVILLE MARINE SPECKELED TROUT TOURNAMENTRULES & REGULATIONS

1. All fish must be weighed in at Greenville Marine Outdoor Shop (An official DMF Weigh Station).

2. Fish must be caught on a rod and reel in a sporting manner. NO SNAGGING.

3. Fish with gill net scars are ineligible (no collars). Fish must not be mutilated in any way.

4. Fish must be caught in the waters of North Carolina.

5. Tournament runs from September 22, 2017 through December 22, 2017.

6. If you enter before the Tournament starts, a fish cannot be weighed within 48 hours of registration. You may enter after the Tournament starts but cannot weigh a fish until 72 hours after registration.

7. All fish must be caught in a legal manner according to NC laws and regulations.

8. No fishing allowed in restricted areas (such as target ships) and anglers caught doing so will be immediately disqualified from this and all future tournaments.

9. All questionable fish to be examined by marine biologist.

10. Each and every day of the tournament is captain’s choice, and angler agrees that Greenville Marine Outdoor Shop assumes no liability and angler understands he/she is fishing at their own risk.

11. Only one prize per angler.

12. In the event of a tie, the first fish weighed in will be the winner.

13. Greenville Marine Outdoor Shop reserves the right to deny entry to anyone.

14. The Tournament Director’s decisions are final.

15. All contestants are subject to a polygraph test. Failure to pass or refusal to take this test will result in immediate disqualification.

Each competitor must read and sign the waiver below before entering any Greenville Marine Outdoor Shop Tournaments.

All judgments, interpretations, and executions of tournament rules and administration thereof is solely the responsibility of Greenville Marine & Sport Center, Inc., and Greenville Marine Outdoor Shop, Greenville, NC. Greenville Marine Outdoor Shop Tournaments has the right to refuse any entry it receives.

Having read the rules and regulations, and by signing this application, I agree to waive and release Greenville Marine & Sport Center, Inc., and Greenville Marine Outdoor Shop their agents and assigns, other contestants, host marinas, and their agents of all claims of personal injury, property damage or any other claim incurred by me while participating in this tournament or other activities of the above named organizations. I swear that the above statements are true. I also agree to take a polygraph test if required.
