1. Self test function description Initial Test Connect led load, emergency module, battery and led driver, then connect mains supply, this emergency conversion module will

automatically start to do a initial test, to check led load, battery, led driver and emergency module are all working properly. If not, led

indicator will �ash red. If there is no error sign, then it turn to charge mode automatically.

Functional Test

Functional test takes 10 seconds automatically in every 30 calendar days.

Duration test Emergency conversion module automatically makes a full duration test in every 180 calendar days to check capacity of battery.

Note If mains supply is o� during self-test period, emergency conversion module would terminate self-test immediately and turn to emergecy mode.

2. Instruction of indicator light Green fast �ash (0.1 second on, 1 second o�), charging mode

Green slow �ash (0.1 second on, 6 second o�), self test mode, including function test and duration test

Green stable: battery is fully charged

Red �ash: failure (including load failure, charging failure, battery failure)

Green and red o�, DC mode (battery operation, emergency mode)
