Vinni-Pajusti Industrial areas

In the region Vinni-Pajusti about 1,800 peopleaccomodate, representing one third of thepopulation in Vinni parish. So the VinniPajusti holdings were centers that had beenbuilt as the base for agricultural production

aswell as support for industrial production.

Strengths of the region:Favorable location, close roads, a favorable climate for agricultural production (land quality rating, fields and farm sizes, and technology supply), a built-in utilities (gas pipeline, water and sewer mains, a stable electrical connection), an existing positive living environment (nursery schools, secondary schools, sports center, a pharmacy, point GP, shops, petrol stations), effective public transportation county.

Weakness:Lack of investment capacity, out of use for the vacant lots and buildings (there is no vision, or the owners of entrepreneurial activity), lack of awareness of existing utility lines for work, labor, and the limited availability of resources for retraining.

Opportunities:Using national and EU structural funds, in cooperation with neighboring municipalities and counties through re-education reduce the unemployment rate , recreation opportunities for residents and encourage recreational activities (motion paths, roads, interest groups); foreign investors.

Threats:The worsening economic situation, increased unemployment, reduced municipal revenue base, or the emigration of people, moving out.

Pajusti industrial location: the private ownership and approximately 5 hectares of land remains state-owned

Size of 25 ha.

Location: Vinni parish Pajusti small town south-west. Distance of 6 km from Rakvere, Kunda port 35 km, 100 km from Tallinn. Passes through the small town of Rakvere. Which is easily

accessible via the ring road surrounding the town of Rakvere, and from there through the Tallinn-Narva, Rakvere, Tartu, Pärnu and Rakvere directions.
