Älyn l isääminen konetuot teisiin johtaa teoll iseenvallankumoukseenKonecranesin toimitusjohtaja Pekka Lundmark: Teollinen internet on Suomelle iso mahdollisuus

SIRPA RÄIHÄ HS
Pekka Kuisma ja Marko Heikkinen seuraavat Konecranesin Hyvinkään etähuoltovalvomon kautta tuhansien laitteiden toimintaa.
Konecranes aikoo tehdä laitteiden etähuollosta liiketoimintansa ytimen. Toimitusjohtajan visiossa suomalainen teollisuus kulkee kumouksen
kumouksessa onnistutaan.
Hyvinkään etähuoltoon on nyt kytketty 4 417 laitetta eri puolilla maailmaa. Joka kuukausi järjestelmään liittyy toistasataa uutta laitetta.
Laitteista välittyy koko ajan Hyvinkään valvomoon tietoa vaikkapa siitä, kuumeneeko moottori ja miten kovassa käytössä nosturi on.

Porter and Heppelman: How Smart, Connected
Products Are Transforming Competition
• Smart, connected products offer exponentially expanding opportunities for new functionality and capabilities that transcend traditional product boundaries.
• This heralds a third wave of IT-driven transformation that has the potential to be the biggest yet.
• The changing nature of products is disrupting value chains and forcing companies to rethink nearly everything they do, from how they conceive, design, and source products; to how they manufacture, operate, and service them; to how they build and secure the necessary IT infrastructure.
