LIFTING MAGNETS

Super Magnetic Lifter incorporate permanent magnets in conjunction with steel parts. The permanent magnets provide the power for an indefinite period of time. For practical use the magnetic power of a permanent lifting magnet has to be turned ON and OFF. This is done mechanically. An external power source is not required which means that permanent lifting magnets can be used virtually anywhere. They are so-called "self contained" devices.

GRID MAGNETS Magnetic grids - also called magnetic grates - are often placed at a pouring point or receiving hopper. They filter very fine magnetic and even weakly magnetic ferrous contaminants from free-flowing powders and granulates.

RECTANGULAR LIFTING MAGNETS Complete ranges of rectangular lifting magnets are available for hot and cold steel handling applications. MANUAL AND SELF-CLEANING SUSPENDED MAGNETS (PERMANENT AND ELECTRO)

SELF-CLEANING SUSPENDED OVERBAND MAGNETS Self-cleaning magnets are available in electro-type and permanent versions to suit individual applications. Common applications are tramp iron removal & mineral processing. Both Crossbelt and In-line versions are custom designed to suit every possible plant condition and are designed to offer continuous operation with minimal maintenance requirements. Units include wide pole designs for high belt speed applications, high magnetic flux / gradients for weak magnetic-susceptibility ores, oil / air and forced cooled options . Every unit is of robustdesign and thermo dynamic modeling ensures optimum performance at all times. Power consumption vary from 2 kW up to 50 kW and cover belt width up to 2200mm. Operating gaps up to 700mm, scanning conveyor up to 5 m/s are accommodated.

MANUAL CLEANING SUSPENDED MAGNETS Manual cleaning units are primarily used for tramp iron removal on conveyor belts for plant protection . They are available in both electro and permanent type versions. The same design criteria is used as with self-cleaning units. Extra heavy duty wear plates are additionally provided to protect against heavy impact loading.Models from 1 to 35 kW are available and include operating gaps up to 700 mm and belt speeds of 4.5 m/s.

DRUM MAGNETS Wet and dry drum magnets are primarily used for mineral processing and upgrading of ore. Axial and radial pole configurations are available with options of electro-, normal ferrite- and Rare Earth type units. Customs designs ensure optimal efficiency and ore upgrading with minimal maintenance required.
