IntroductionThe diagnostic kit which my company ABC

Co.pvt ltd. is designing is very useful for thecoming generation, people and researchers,

especially who are working as a genealogistbecause this can provide a brief of their familyhistory.

This particular kit can easily tell about the

relationship between two people and also thediseases and genetic disorders related withthem.

ScopeScope of this kit is very high because till now this

technique is not used in the commercial scale inIndia, and the success behind this kit is due to itsmultipurpose work and its low cost compared toany other lab or institute in India or in foreigncountries. This kit is the total combination of all the

forensic lab work which is done in India. With the help of this kit we can save our future

generation. the future risk resulting from today'slack of caution may not impact you, but may harmyour children and their descendants.

    For example:-

If any person have some genetic disease that areregularly passing or coming from there ancestorsthat disease can be easily detected and with the

help of this kit we can prevent it to pass it to thenext coming generation.

According to a survey which was done inforeign countries (U.S)three monthsago, nowadaysmore than 38.8% people want to

know there origin and also want to add leaveson there family tree by knowing their personalfamily history. There are some Markers used fordoing the test is date of birth, death relatives

etc.An individuals results are compared with those

of other customers, or searches will beconducted within geographically or ethnically

The TechniqueFirstly I will take the sample from the customer

and extract DNA from it. After extracting asmall amount of DNA, that DNA will be allowed

for P.C.R. in which the D.N.A gets amplified andproduce more number of copies.

Four cycles are shownhere. The blue linesrepresent the DNAtemplate to whichprimers (red arrows)anneal that are extended

by the DNA polymerase(light green circles), togive shorter DNAproducts (green lines),

After P.C.R we will allow that amplified dna forgel-electrophoresis then we match the bands orsequence of the customers D.N.A with therespected D.N.A or parent D.N.A.

By observing the base pairs sequence we caneasily tells about the relation between the twopersons.

For every samples we will follow the same

    procedure.

The copies of D.N.A are then allowed for gel electrophoresis.

Figure : Ethidium bromide-stained PCR products aftergel electrophoresis. Two sets of primers were used to amplify

a target sequence from three different tissue samples. Noamplification is present in sample #1; DNA bands in sample#2 and #3 indicate successful amplification of the targetsequence. The gel also shows a positive control, and a DNAladder containing DNA fragments of defined length for sizing

For example:If we want to match father, motherand son D.N.A then we will get some

    bands as shown

Figure 4: Electrophoresis of PCR-amplified DNA fragments. (1) Father.(2) Child. (3) Mother. The child hasinherited some, but not all of thefingerprint of each of its parents, giving it a new, unique fingerprint.

Marketing StrategyFirst to launch my kit, I will contact the nearby

lab, with their help, I launch my kit in themarket. Before that, I will lay some ground

rules for the lab:For first 2 weeks (approx) I would want to

launch my kit free of cost in the market.

I will take their workers for my help and theywill be paid by you (lab) only.

After two weeks I will start charging thecustomer which will totally be mine and I would

ive 35% of m income to the lab.

By doing this I will get some fund and

experience. After that I will start contacting thebig pharmaceutical companies to launch my kiton a commercial scale.

I will make deal with the company regarding

the sales of my kit under their banner name. Inexchange to this I would as them to supply mewith their chemicals.

The approximately break time event of my kit

will be nearly about one month. The overall cost for com letin one test will be

Profit-The MathFrom my free camp and also from the lab

experience, I came to know that a minimum of10-20 customer s will be my client every

month. So if we take an average then I caneasily earn 3500*15=Rs 52,500 . For my workat commercial scale I need at least eightworkers, so if I pay Rs.3000 to each person,

then in a month I have to spend Rs.24000 onthem and for the company I would give 30% ofmy income that will be nearly about Rs 9000per month and my net profit will be Rs 19000

This is very low comparing it with any other lab

whether foreign or in India.By doing the market survey I found that thefamous institute like CDFD(center for dnafingureing and diagnostic), whose base is inHyderabad, are working on this type of

diagnostic kit and are charging Rs.5000 persample, which is quite higher than my charge. So once people know about my kit then I wouldbe able to easily expand my work.

After working there, I will expand my work bycontacting the branches of my company whichare situated in other states. It will be helpful toexpand my business.

Future AspectsMy kit will click in the market due to its

economic pricing and efficiency. Speakingethically, I would be approaching a lab to do it

so the lab will be taking care of the ethical sideof my kit, with the help of their own ethicalcommittee which almost every lab has a permitof and consults before taking up the work.

ConclusionI think my kit wouldbe a hit in the marketbecause this is one-of-a-kind kit and isunique. Not only is itexciting to use, it

does provide manwith somethingimportant and useful.Everybody would beeager to knowwhether or not theyare suffering from any

disease, so that it iscured or maskedbefore beingtransferred to thenext generation. Alsopeople would beeager to know about
