INDUSTRY ACTlVlTlES The Chemical Coaters Association International (CCAI) celebrated its 25th Anniversary at the Annual Meet- ing, July 12-13 in Milwaukee. CCAI held its Annual Awards Banquet, where Past Presidents Marle Kvaal of Grace, Gary Frazier of Hentzen Coat- ings, Thomas McCardle of Kolene Corp., Garry Vandekieft of Broan Mfg., David Wright of Texo Corp., Bob Warren of Novamax Technolo- gies, Rex Winemiller of Dove Equip- ment, and James Malloy of Kolene were honored. Awards were also pre- sented for Chapter Users and Suppliers of the Year. The CCAI announced the following individuals to serve on the National Board of Directors for the 1995-96 term: Larry Melgary, North- ern Coatings & Chemicals, National President; George Bryant, Briggs 8z Stratton, Vice-President; Bob Warren, Novamax Technologies, Secretary/ Treasurer; and James Malloy, Kolene Corp., Immediate Past-President. Serv- ing on the National Board will be Mark Egan, Fremont Industries; Mike Fisher, Moline Paint; Don LeBart, Oa- kite Products Inc.; Rick Morgan, Nord- son Corp.; Bob Nelson; Mike Nugent, Powder Technology Inc.; Phil Ruggi- ero, PDR Products Co.; Dave Sheets, Calgon Corp.; Dave Wright, Texo Corp.; Mike Vrshek, O’Brien Powder Products; and Bill Morris, Nordson Corp. Nihon Parkerizing Co. Ltd., To- kyo, and Henkel Corp., Parker Am- them Group, Madison Heights, Mich., renewed their long-standing li- cense agreement, marking the 7th re- newal of this agreement, which spans 67 years. Parker Amchem specializes in surface treatment technology and services. Henkel Corp. is a specialist in applied chemistry and provides chem- icals and services to manufacturers in almost every industrial sector. Nihon Parkerizing is the leading suppplier of metal-finishing chemicals and equip- ment in the Asian Region. An upgrade is finished on the The International Metals & Chemicals Group, Shelby, NC., tin fabrication line. Tin anodes by MetalsAmerica are produced in Anvex Spheres, Quadstar bars, and a variety of nugget sizes. Tin casting and fabrication are done by the IMC Group at its 160,000-fp inte- grated production facility. Herman Hammer, President of Hill Cross Co., is proud to announce the 50th anniversary of the company, which was founded in 1945 by Donald Wood.
