What is a constant airflow inflatable?Constant airflow obstacles require a fan to continuously pump air through the inflatable to keep it firm and bouncy for running along. The obstacle course is kept inflated via an air inlet tube, which at our standard length of six metres enables the blower to be secured well away from the poolside. A constant airflow obstacle course inflates in just a few minutes – an excellent choice for multi-purpose pools!

What model/design/layout do you have?We have purchased 2x Climb & Slides, 2x Huia Swings, a Multi-Challenge and a Mega Slide

Did you implement a fee to use the inflatable specifically or just increase an existing admission fee? We purchased our inflatables back in 2009 and have seen a steady climb in overall annual revenue due to increases in season pass sales, daily attendance, and wristband sales.

How long do you anticipate waiting before your purchase price is recovered? We had originally anticipated almost 2 seasons but managed to recover all expenses within the first summer.

Do you restrict the hours or day that the feature is available? Inflatables are available every day during our summer season from 1 – 6pm.

What is your daily usage like? Based upon a 90 day summer we average over 150 users each day. If you figure each person goes on at least 5 times that would be 750 trips per day x 90 days = 67,500 people on the inflatables per summer.

Have you increased any rental revenue associated with use of the inflatable? Yes we do specialty rental parties in the evening and charge $279 for 1.5 hours.

How did having this feature affect your surveillance coverage? We actually believe having the inflatables in the water helps make the facility safer as we only have 10 people in a large area of water being guarded by 4 lifeguards. Before the inflatables we would have inner-tubes and free swim in the middle of the pool with at least 50-100 swimmers being guarded by the same 4 guards.

Unlike traditional advertising hoarding, the inflatable wall is soft, SAFE and very flexible - it can be placed around the edge of a rectangular field or curved around an oval, perfect for the sports field, concerts, events and endless other purposes.

SAFE WATER PRACTICE

We have more than 20 years experience conforming with standards for safety and aquatic devices for State and City governments in USA, Canada and across the world. Our constant airflow inflatables are fully compliant with the strict Australian Standard AS3533.4.5.

We work with our clients to ensure we provide the best-fitting products for their location. Because we manufacture all of our products in our own factory in Nelson, New Zealand, we can easily ensure your products are customised to your specific requirements and manufacture especially for your water depths and intended age group. We will also discuss with you our recommendations about lifeguards and their positioning to ensure optimum visibility of users.

We actually believe having the inflatables in the water makes the facility safer

as we only have 10 people in a large area of water being guarded by 4 lifeguards.

Before the inflatables we would have inner-tubes and free swim in the middle of

the pool with at least 50-100 swimmers being guarded by the same 4 guards.
