TODAY is the 4th Sunday in Advent!On this last Sunday before Christmas, churches light the Angel’s candle - the fourth candle lit in the season of Advent. As the Angel’s candle is lit on the 4th Sunday in Advent, we are reminded of the heavenly hosts that porclaimed Christ’s arrival with, “Behold, I bring unto you god tiding of great joy!” The Angel’s candle is purple in colour, reminding us that it was the King’s birth the angels were announcing.
