PLMC YOUTH DECEMBER CAMP“Camp Proseed”The Youth ministry is organising the annual year-end December camp for all youths in PLMC. The theme verse of this year’s camp is Psalm 1:3: “They are like trees planted along the riverbank, bearing fruit each season. Their leaves never wither, and they prosper in all they do.” The heart of the camp is to know who we are in Christ, to grow deeper in our relationship with God and man and to plant/sow the seed of hope to others in the community. There will be a day of outreach activities where the youths will be like the “trees planted along the riverbank, bearing fruit” through sowing seeds of love to others. Registration starts TODAY. White Gifts Sunday - Thank You!Covenant Family Service Centre has collected $2000 in NTUC vouchers and $26,555 cash and cheques to meet adequately the needs of the needy families served by the Centre. Each year, our FSC needs to purchase $27,000 worth of NTUC vouchers for monthly assistance, walk-in/urgent cases and love gifts for their clients. Covenant Family Service Centre would like to once again express their heart-felt thanks to PLMC members and friends for donating generously toward the support of needy families on White Gifts Sunday.

PRAYER FOCUSOUTREACH1. Outreach to Children - We praise God for the Children’s Day Programme that PLMC Sonshine Kids hosted for the children in the Braddell Heights community as well as the children of Covenant Kindergarten, Hope Student Care, PLMC-PCF Little Stars and Chen Su Lan Methodist Children’s Home. We praise God for every child who came. Let us continue to pray that God will fan in each one the passion and hunger to want to know more about Jesus and a desire to be part of God’s family. May they come to know Jesus in their early years and be a blessing to many others in the years to come!
2. Outreach to Friends of Jesus on the streets - Please pray for our friend, Pang, who is estranged from his family. He suffered a stroke previously and is currently recovering from a fall and is being treated at Tan Tock Seng Hospital. Pray that the medical social worker will be helpful and effective in finding him a nursing home that will meet his needs. Pray that his family will be compassionate and reconnect to care for him as he desires to be reconciled to them. Pray that Pang will keep his eyes on Jesus and continue to live with hope in God and not despair during this time.
3. Outreach to Migrant Workers - Please pray for opportunities to enter into spiritual conversations and share the good news with our migrant worker friends from both South Asia and China. As we care for them in practical ways, may they begin to trust our hearts and open up their lives to us. May we continue to host the presence of God at Taiseng Centre and Geylang every week when we meet them for fellowship and computer classes.
SONSHINE KIDS1. Pray for the children who have come for the Sonshine Kids Outreach Event and had made a commitment to follow Jesus. May they be able to grow in their faith in the Lord.
2. Pray for our upcoming mission trip (27 Nov-2 Dec 2015) where we will minister to the children in a school and a church in Chonburi.
3. Pray for the direction of the ministry as we enter into the 4th quarter of 2015.
