Email digest notification preferences can be configured using the new settings option. The settings icon is placed beside the user name on the top right-hand corner of the ERS page. Look for the cogwheel. A user can select to receive email notifications for Subscribed ERs and ERs related to entitled Product Lines.When “My Subscribed ERs” is selected, a user can select to receive immediate email

notifications for Subscribed ERs where there has been any change in status or comments.When "ERs related to my Product Lines" is selected, a user can select to receive

Enhancement Requests email notifications for the selected Product LinesYou can also define the frequency for email digest delivery - daily, weekly or monthly.This new feature will help YOU stay on top of ERs more easily to be able to review

them and keep current on status updates.

4HOW TO WRITE A GOOD ER

Research the idea in ERS to make sure it has not already been submitted• If so, review, comment, add more detail and ENDORSE• If not, begin a new ER. After you type in the initial words, the system will do a keyword search

and any ERs associated with those words will come up at the bottom for your review• If you find what you are looking for, review, comment, add more detail and ENDORSE

When you enter your description of the problem, be as succinct and complete as possibleHelp other users visualize how your ER will enhance their processes, adding value to

their organization, company and/or to their customers. Make it easy for others to say that your ER will have a positive impact on their organization or company when implemented.

5MORE TIPS ON WRITING A GOOD ER

Make sure you include the module and release you are currently on. Use case scenarios; for example, “when we do this…this happens…”. Make sure you can reproduce the issue and include the steps. Describe how painful it is in time, resources, upset customers, vendors, etc. Add

consideration for all the areas it will affect. Add screenshots and attachments so others can understand your idea.Describe the workaround you may be doing to get around this issue. Again, include

the steps you follow, the time it takes…all the detail.Please refer to KB Article 2072678 for more detail

This discussion got 15 comments on the TUG Forums this customer incorporated into the ER and the ER has 37 endorsements and has been linked to 3 other ER’s with similar goals.

Prior to the customer’s post on the TUG Forums, it had not received any endorsements. On the day he posted this, it received 11 endorsements, and now has 25.

7MORE ON SOCIALIZATION

There is a Copy Link functionality at the top of the ER page. Copy and paste a link to your ER in your user community when you socialize your ER, make it easy for other users with Concierge access to get to and endorse your ER. Really sell the value of the ER to your user community, addressing how it may improve

a tedious process, or fix an issue which has repeatedly been discussed within the community. Remember, Infor has limited development resources and if you want your Great Idea

to be implemented, you’ll need the endorsements from your community.

8ENDORSING ERS

As a reminder, when you are reviewing ERs entered by other users, make sure to add to the idea with your thoughts, attachments, and workarounds to make it as complete as possible. ENDORSE it if you can see the value to your company, or comment how, if the ER

was tweaked it would be a value and you could endorse it, then endorse it.

Infor’s ER Review Policy is to review for those ER’s in the system for one year by 5-31-2020, plus any that have already reached the minimum number of endorsements

Product Managers can continue to review the ERs at anytime regardless of number of endorsements.

In general 2020 thresholds will be:• OnPrem – 10 endorsements (by unique companies)• Cloud – 5 endorsements (by unique companies)• Individual product management teams can choose different thresholds

Each company will count as 1 endorsement In the Prioritization, each customer will only be able to choose 10 ERs
