Information About WAVL Junior League at Perth College The Western Australian Volleyball Junior League is a multi – division, season long (winter) competition, that allows players of all ages and abilities to represent their school and play competitively. It is the perfect platform for Perth College students to grow their love of volleyball from IGSSA! Perth College has participated in this competition since 2011 with much success. It has given the girls confidence to play in other volleyball events, such as the WA School’s Cup, National School’s Cup and even state team trials. Perth College plays under the UWA banner, which also means they have a pathway in volleyball once leaving school. •  played every Friday afternoon between 5.30pm and 8.30pm at 1 of 4 venues (Rossmoyne SHS, Perth Modern, The Rise, Belmont Oasis, State Netball Centre, Warwick Stadium, Aquinas College – TBC)

•  timed games – 50min with

10min warm-up •  no requirement to umpire •  Divisions based on age: Yr

5/6, 7/8, 9/10 & 11/12 •  no games during school

holidays, or boarders long weekend

•  One training per week

(day and time TBC)
