Kids & Teens Resource Centre (K&TRC), is a registered non-profit making, non-religious and non-governmental organization.

Established in December 2002 in Nigeria, to support, promote and advance efforts of government and all other stakeholders involved in young people’s developmental activities.

K&TRC has a 5-Person Board of Trustees, 5-Person Management Board of Directors, 18 full-time staff comprising 6 highly trained programme and field staff, Human Resource and Administrative Manager, Senior Programmes Manager, Finance Officer, Programmes Officer, Programmes Assistants, Account Officer, 3 Programme Officers, 2 Secretaries and 10 Support staff.

K&TRC is a volunteer involving organization, premised with several trainings on Volunteer Management System home and abroad with the support of the Voluntary Service Overseas (VSO) Nigeria.

K&TRC has a pool of volunteers whose talents, time and contributions has been of tremendous support to the achievement of the goals and objectives of the organization.

K&TRC has a community-based structure too. It comprised the Community Development Committees. We also have crop of volunteers called Community Volunteers (CV) and Caregivers.

Knowledge: Increase access to and use of knowledge and innovations to enhance policy, service delivery and financing mechanisms, addressing key constraints to universal access to high-quality reproductive, maternal, newborn and child health care in Nigeria

Advocacy: Identify and mobilize additional resources for RMNCH through partner engagement and by maintaining visibility of women’s and children’s health issues in policy and development forums. Promote consensus on evidence-based policy development and implementation (including strategic priorities and alignment of resources)

Accountability: Promote accountability for resources and results, leading to better information to monitor RMNCH results, as well as better and more systematic tracking of how financial commitments are allocated and disbursed.

Identification of Peculiar issues with Adolescent Stage of Development as it affects their Physical, Mental, Sexual, Social and Emotional wellbeing. These include issues of Inter/Intra personal conflicts, Negative Peer Pressure, Transgenerational/Transactional Sexual Networking.

Capacity Building-Providing Knowledge and essential life skills for young people on how to manage these issues.
