About Talk English

improve the language
skills of people with little
or no English.

• Support people with low level English language skills
• Gain experience of mentoring , working as part of a
team and working with learners from all over the world
• Develop your communication and organisational skills

• Attend and complete a training course to prepare for the role
• Commit to supporting at least 4 people over the course of the project
• Meet your Friend regularly to practise English

• Apply for a DBS check
