Information to benefits or ‘ Yojna se labh tak’ Date:- 14-December-2018 Venue:- District Collect orate Meeting hall, Jodhpur Time:- 9 to 6 PM About the workshop- The state level consultation sought to invite different stake holders from Government, Civil Society Organizations, Community based organizations and others, which were intending to work and feel the importance of Information and using of Digital tools to bridge the gap between the information and the citizen scheme and the entitlements mostly. It had to do to strengthen the deprived community and to let them know the importance of Digital tools’ achieve the goals of access and delivery of government schemes information and citizen entitlement benefits across the State. It also highlighted some information which is open to all and citizens are still struggling to get those. The consultation also sought to discuss and deliberate on the issues and challenges in access and delivery of information and entitlements. The consultation invited to various partners to share current organizational framework on information dissemination and access to delivery model, good practices which are being taken up in the state for the citizens at their door steps. Participants were involved in the workshop from government department i.e. Rajeevika (Rajasthan Grameen Ajeevika Vikas Parishad), NGOs Centre for Micro Finanace, Pradan, SRIJAN, Manjari Foundation, Dhara Sansthan, SURE, MLPC etc. and lead bank like Rajasthan Marudhara Grameen Bank. Information to benefits or ‘Yojna se labh tak’

About the workshop-

Rajasthan.

Following were the Objective of the consultation:-

A) To discuss various model of Information dissemination in Rajasthan

B) To make participants understand digital dialogue process

C) To know the Citizen grievance redress mechanism and basic entitlements (Social Security

Pension, Ration detail under NFSA act.)

D) Concept seeding about Soochnapreneur model and ‘Mera app’ (Android based app)

E) To build mutual consent on information service framework

1) While introductory session, participants were asked to share the work by their organization and current framework to disseminate the scheme to right candidates, in which various framework were shared.

2) After a little meditative exercise, participants were asked to think their past life and explore the moments where they found that “any information can play a vital role in their life either positive or negative”

3) Soochna Seva frame work shared by Shishir in following way:- A) Input- Challenges faced From the Demand (Community) and supply (government

department) side B) Process- Process adopted by DEF with the help of Community and Department side C) Output- Output shared after working with community and department as well. D) Minimum requirements to establish a Soochna Seva Kendra
