Three levels of Apprenticeship
• Apprenticeships (equivalent to five good GCSE passes)
• Advanced Apprenticeships (equivalent to two A-level passes)
• Higher Apprenticeships -NVQ 4 foundation degree
Apprenticeship?Apprentices:– earn a wage and work alongside experienced staff
to gain skills.– receive training towards nationally recognised
qualifications,– take between 1 and 4 years to complete depending
on the level, ability and industry sector.–minimum salary £2.65per hour; many apprentices
earn significantly more. – average wage per week for an apprentice is now
around £170 and in some job roles around £210 per week.
