More than 175 local and international firms exhibited at Infra Oman 2012 who occupied more than 8,000 square meters of space in the exhibition hall and the outside area around the exhibition center.

The 2nd International Exhibition for Infrastructure and Industrial Projects emerged as the most sought-after event in the GCC construction annual calendar.

The international participation beat all expectations with companies from more than 25 countries choosing Infra Oman as their entry point to the most promising and lucrative construction market in the Middle East.

The show, held from October 2 to October 4 at the Oman International Exhibition Centre, has thus confirmed its position as a strategic platform for companies, government agencies and industry key players searching for networking and business opportunities.

At the visitor level, the show was successful in drawing more than 4,000 professionals from Oman, GCC, Middle East and Other International countries. Professionals from the private and public sectors, government officials, key decision-makers and project managers were all available to network, learn about new products, and conduct business deals during Infra Oman.

The show was inaugurated by H.E. Dr. Rasheed bin Al Safi Al Huraibi, Chairman of the Tender Board Oman and accompanied by Ministry officials, members of the diplomatic forces, media and top business people. On the second day H.E. Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Salim Al Futaisi, Minister of the Transport & Communications Ministry graced the exhibition with his presence.

For the second time in Oman, JCB together with Muscat Overseas presented the world famous “JCB Dancing Diggers” show, as part of the “Infra Oman” exhibition. Although in great demand, the Diggers limit their appearances to only three to four shows a year.

The response to Infra Oman 2012 has been overwhelming. Being the second edition, the show has surpassed all expectations. If past experience is any guide, then this indicates that Infra Oman 2013 will be an edition that we will all be looking forward to!

Infra Oman 2012: The Region’s Largest Gathering of Industrial Professionals

Infra Oman 2012 is the first exhibition in Oman to be audited by BPA Wordlwide. BPA Worldwide is the largest auditor of media in the world in terms of membership. BPA is similar to Audit Bureau of Circulations, providing independent, third-party verified data that media owners provide to media buyers and advertisers.
