The sys- tem combines self-cleaning refractory board with other design features to allow for considerably less main- tenance expense. Other advantages include its ability to be used in temperature ranges much higher than traditional ovens without the requirement for air or water-cooling, and in atmosheres where smoke and pollutants are present. It can be designed as a stand-alone oven system or a booster system to augment an existing process.
