I would like to present the Special Sports awards to all students
who have excelled in a sport outside of a school setting this year.
Brooke Wilkins Selected as a member of the 2015 Little Athletics NSW State
team. As a member of the NSW team, Brooke competed in the Australian Junior Championships and came 7th in 800m and 8th in
1500m.
Michael Hounslow Played in the Bronze Junior U/14s and SDTA Junior Tennis
Championships. Won 2 grand finals and was undefeated for 20 games in a row.
Rebekah Edwards
Selected in the Campbelltown representative softball team and played in the state softball competition.
Janemarie Henry
Selected in the Campbelltown representative netball team and played in the state age competition.
Lachlan Natapu
Plays for Junior West Magpies. Selected in the NSW Junior Gold Squad. Played in the NSW Harold Matthews Cup.

For their achievements in sport this year, each of these students is
also awarded an Ingleburn High School Blues Award for Excellence in Sport.
The criteria for this award are:
1. Selected in a NSW CHS team during 2015
OR 2. Participated in a final at CHS Athletics, Cross Country or
Swimming OR
3. Received a 1st, 2nd or 3rd place in any sport at CHS level. This award represents one of the highest honours in
Ingleburn High School Sport.

The Junior Sports Person nominees are drawn from Years 7-9.
This student has shown outstanding ability in cross country and athletics, making it to state in both competitions and placing 3rd at
state in the 1500m. She then raced at All Schools and came 4th. Outside of school she has continued to be selected for elite athletic teams and performed at national level, placing 7th in Australia in
her age group.

I would now like to call on Mr Elbahou.
Thank you to the parents and guests for attending today’s Presentation Assembly.
Thank you to all teachers who coached teams this year, the Executive Staff for allowing so many sporting opportunities to go ahead, Mrs Pinilla and Miss Dennis for organising the School Carnivals, Mrs Pinilla for being Sports Organiser, Mrs McMurdo for co-ordinating knockout sporting events and Miss Dennis for assisting in running sport.
Thank you to the Administration Staff.
