hicieron esta semana:

…We had a great week here at the Ausangate Nursery. Here are a few comments about some interesting things the kids did this week:

Reunión de Padres de Familia de Preschool, Pre-Kinder y Kinder

Les comunicamos que nuestra Primera Reunión ha sido posterga-

da para el día miércoles 23 de marzo. Como saben, estas reunio-

nes tienen el objetivo de compartir con ustedes información sobre

el trabajo que realizaremos el presente año, así como tomar

acuerdos para trabajar de manera conjunta en este año escolar

2016.

Las reuniones serán en el siguiente horario:

6:00 pm – Preschool y Pre-Kinder

7:00 pm –Kinder

Envío folders de tareas para Kinder

Les recordamos que todas las semanas los fólderes de tareas serán

enviados los días viernes para ser devuelto los días jueves con la

tarea resueltas por los niños.

Esperamos que disfruten esta aventura con sus hijos y si tienen al-

guna duda o pregunta pueden comunicarse con las profesoras o

enviar de vuelta el fólder para que las profesoras puedan absol-

ver las dudas con su niño/a.

Abriremos aula para niños y niñas de 2 años

Debido a la demanda de atención para esta edad, recibiremos a

niños y niñas de 2 años en El Nido del Ausangate, en nuestro local

del segundo paradero de San Sebastián. Las clases empezarán el

viernes 1 de abril y las matrículas serán del 14 al 18 de marzo.

contamos con cupos limitados.

Parent Meetings

Our first meetings have been postponed until Wednesday, March

23rd. As you know, these meetings are to present our staff, share

important information about our work in 2016 and make important

decisions.

The schedule is as follows:

6:00 pm – Preschool and Pre-Kinder

7:00 pm – Kinder

Kinder Homework Folders

Please keep in mind that these will be sent home every Friday and

should be returned every Thursday completed by the children.

We hope that you enjoy this adventure with your children. If you

have any questions, please contact your child’s teacher or return

the folder so teachers can explain it again to your child.

Two Year Olds at Ausangate Nursery

Due to popular demand, we will admit two-year-olds at the Au-

sangate Nursery in the Segundo Paradero of San Sebastián star-

ting Friday, April 1st. Registration will take place from March 14 -

March 18.

Preschool: Miriam Aparicio y Camu Ortiz

Los niños de Preschool esta semana realizaron diversas actividades para reconocer las partes gruesas de su cuerpo, describieron sus

características físicas y la de sus compañeros . Además asociaron su trabajo con las tarjetas con su nombre. / The children in Preschool

completed many different activities this week to recognize their large body parts, describing the characteristics of these body parts to

their friends. Additionally, they associated their work with their name cards.

PreKinder Español: Yudy Carpio y Edurne Robles

Los niños y niñas de Pre-Kinder están llevando a cabo una indagación sobre la importancia de tener amigos, y las estrategias para

cuidarlos y tratarlos bien. Hemos leído el cuento “Franklin” que nos serviò como personaje principal esta semana. / The boys and girls in

Pre-Kinder are carrying out an investigation about the importance of having friends, ways to care for these friends and treat them well.

We read a book, “Franklin”, that served as an important example this week.

Pre-Kinder Inglés: Addie Price y Morgan Scott

Esta semana, Pre-Kinder siguió trabajando con el color rojo. Crearon sus propias mariquitas rojas y cantaron canciones sobre ese color.

Además, escucharon cuentos en inglés./This week Pre-Kinder continued to work with the color red. They created their own red lady-

bugs and sang songs about the color. Additionally, Pre-Kinder listened to several stories in English.

Kinder Español: Edurne Robles y Yudy Carpio

Los niños y niñas de Kinder están llevando a cabo una indagación sobre los Derechos de la Infancia, por lo que han aprendido una

canción relacionada con el tema e invitamos a las familias a practicarla y cantarla en casa (https://www.youtube.com/watch?

v=PsvtmnjGKEk). Esperamos que al final de la Unidad podamos realizar una grabación con niños de Kinder. / The boys and girls in Kind-

er are carrying out an investigation about The Rights of the Child, for which they have learned a related song, and we invite the families

to practice and sing the song at home (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PsvtmnjGKEk). We hope to record the children in Kinder singing this song at the end of the Unit of Inquiry.

Kinder Inglés: Addie Price y Morgan Scott

Esta semana, Kinder empezó el programa de Jolly Phonics y aprendieron sobre el sonido de la letra “s”. Practicaron escribiendo la letra

“s” y aprendieron palabras como“snake”, “seven”, y “sun”. Asimismo, practicaron el dibujo de círculos y buscaron objetos que tuvieran

esta forma en el mundo real./ This week Kinder started working with the Jolly Phonics program, and learned about the “s” sound. They

practiced writing the “s” letter, and learned words like “snake”, “seven”, and “sun”. Additionally, the class practiced drawing circles

and looked for circle-shaped objects in the real word.

Horario de Atención a Padres de Familia

En caso de que deseen tener una reunión con la profesora de

sus hijos, los siguientes son los horarios en que están disponibles

durante la semana.

Preschool: Lunes 10:45am - 11:30am

Pre-Kinder: Jueves 8:30am - 9:15am

Kinder: Jueves 10:00am - 10:45am

Concierto gratis en Real Plaza

Mañana, sábado 19 de marzo, el nuevo profesor de percusión,

Arturo Cruz, junto con varios estudiantes de nuestro colegio

participarán en una presentación de música de varios géneros

entre ellos rock y música peruana. El concierto se llevará a

cabo a las 6:00pm en el estrado del primer piso cerca al res-

taurante “Chilis” del Real Plaza.

Como siempre, agradecemos que nos envíen información so-

bre eventos culturales que podrían ser de interés para nuestras

familias.

Políticas y manuales

Es muy importante que revisen las Políticas y Manuales de

que estos documentos regirán nuestro trabajo a lo largo del

año.

Fecha de pago de pensiones mensuales

Se les recuerda que este año la fecha de pago de las pensio-

nes es el último día hábil del mes, salvo en diciembre que se

paga el día 16. Por favor, revisar el cuadro adjunto.

Puntualidad

Nos gustaría recordarles que las puertas del nido están abier-

tas a las 8:15 a.m. y nuestro programa se inicia para todas las

edades a las 8:30 a.m. Es importante que los niños lleguen a

tiempo y así no interrumpimos el trabajo de la maestra y los

otros niños.

A partir del lunes 07 las clases terminan a la 1:30 para todas las

edades. Les pedimos a las familias que recojan a los niños/as

a tiempo. El recoger tarde a los niños/as puede generarles

angustia o ansiedad, además de generar inconvenientes a

nuestro personal, quien necesita dedicarse a sus otras respon-

sabilidades.

Juguetes

Les recordamos a todas las familias que sus niños/as no de-

ben traer juguetes al Nido a menos que sea un artículo pedi-

do por su profesora. Los juguetes traídos de casa suelen cau-

sar problemas entre los niños/as y no queremos que nada de

estas cosas se rompan o se pierdan.

In case you wish to arrange a meeting with your child’s

teacher, the following are the times during the week that they

are available.

Preschool: Monday 10:45am - 11:30am

Pre-Kinder: Thursday 8:30am - 9:15

Kinder: Thursday 10:00am - 10:45am

Free Concert in Real Plaza

Tomorrow, Saturday, March 19th, our new percussion teacher,

Arturo Cruz, along with a number of Ausangate students will

participate in a concert with a variety of music including rock

and peruvian music. This presentation will take place at 6:00pm

at the stage next to Chili's restaurant at the Real Plaza mall.

As always, we appreciate being sent information about cultur-

al events that could be of interest to our families.

Monthly tuition dates

We remind you that the payment dates this year are for the last

business day of each month, except for December which is

due on the 16th. Please, refer to the table below:

Punctuality

We would like to remind you that our doors open at 8:15 a.m.

and our program starts for all ages at 8:30 a.m. It is important

that the children arrive on time as this increases his/her feeling

of security and is less disruptive to the teacher and the other

children.

Starting Monday, March 7th, classes end at 1:30 for all stu-

dents. Please pick up your children up on time. Late pickup

generates worry and anxiety in addition to being an inconve-

nience for our staff who needs time to do other responsibilities.

Toys

We would like to remind parents that your child should not be

bringing toys to Nursery unless it is an item requested by his/her

teacher. Toys from home tend to cause problems between

children and we wouldn’t want anything from home to get

broken or lost.
