ISSUE – Oct 2015
INJAZ Bahrain's 10th Anniversary Celebration
“INJAZ Bahrain’s achievements over the past decade would not be possible without the support of our
supporters from the public and private sectors, as well as the thousands of volunteers”, Sh. Hessa bint
Khalifa Al Khalifa said. “We are proud to have them as business partners and sincerely value and appreciate
their financial and advisory support.”
Sh. Hessa noted that the organization reached around 2,000 students from a limited number of intermediate
schools in its first year, 2005, and subsequently expanded its programs over the years to reach more than
20,000 students from elementary to university level on an annual basis. To date, the organization has
recruited around 3,200 volunteers who trained around 87,000 students from 200 schools and universities, a
number expected to reach 100,000 students by end of the current academic year 2015-2016.
Thanks to INJAZ Bahrain Board Members
The event kicked off with an exhibition of outstanding projects by students who were trained under the
organization’s various programs over the years, such as “The Company” program and others. The attendees
toured the exhibition and engaged with the students and discussed ways of further developing their ideas.
This was followed by the opening address delivered by Sh. Hessa, in which she underlined the key highlights
and milestones of the organization since its establishment in 2005, especially noting the steady increase each
year in schools, students, and volunteers involved in its programs.
