Volunteers: We are looking for volunteers to rock babies from 10:15-11:30 one Sunday morning per month. We are so blessed to have new babies in our church, come help us love them. Please see Alaina Fowler or Amanda Blanton. Youth News: The lake day for this Wednesday has been CANCELLED. It will be rescheduled and a new date will be an-nounced. For the zoo trip this Saturday, June 11. We will meet at Granny’s Kitchen at 6:15am and will return between 8:30-9pm. If you have questions, contact Jared Foster at 497-6435. Ukulele Lessons: Ukulele lessons will start on Thursday, June 2nd at 4pm in the choir room. Nursery volunteers for next week: Mary Weber, Greg & Jody Herbst and Shelly & Alexis Healey. Alaina Fowler, Crystal Raney & Kati Whitaker. Senior Adult Trip: We will travel to Myrtle Beach on November 14-16. We will stay at the Island Vista Resort. Your package will in-clude: tickets to Legends in Concert, the Christmas show at The Car-olina Opry, two breakfasts at The Cypress Hotel, and a seafood buffet at the Giant Crab. The total cost has been reduced to $300 per person based on a double occupancy room. Please sign up with Jeremiah with a $50 deposit by June 27th. “Growing Together”—Family Discipleship Class: All families with children are invited to join us for a four week study. We will talk about why the family is the most important avenue for discipleship, and ways for you as a family to grow together in your faith and spir-itual formation. Each week we will share a meal around the table and then have conversation about family spiritual formation. We will meet every Sunday evening in June (June 5, 12,19,&26) from 5:00-7:00 pm in the Fellowship Hall. Child care will be provided for younger children upon request. Older children and youth will be encouraged to stay and learn together with their parents. There is a $20.00 cost per family for meals and one copy of Holding Your Fam-ily Together:5 Simple Steps to Help Bring Your Family Closer to God and Each Other. Chrismons: If you have purchased a chrismon, and have not designated who you would like to give it in memory or in honor of, please do so as soon as possible. Also, remember to give Beth Smith your payment if you have not done so yet. Chrismons will be sold until July 31. A display of them can be found in the Atrium, along with an order form if you did not receive one. The price is $25.00. VBS Volunteers: VBS Volunteers will have a meeting on June 15th in the Fellowship Hall. Important information will be passed out at this meeting. If you can not attend, please contact Kati Whitaker.
