What type of land is provided by RIICO?As per the plan of Industrial Area, RIICO provides land for industrial use and for various welfare & supportive services like commercial use, institutional weight bridges, petrol pumps and residential /group housing purposes.What are the benets of buying a land in RIICO area?RIICO provides land with basic infrastructure facilities for establishment of the project.
What infrastructure facilities are provided by RIICO?Roads, Drainage, Power Supply, Water Supply & Street Light etc. are the basic infrastructure facilities provided by RIICO.
How can I apply for land in RIICO Industrial Area?You need to get yourself registered at www.riico.co.in and participate ine-Auction process for allotment of land with requisite documents.
What is the contact detail of the concerned person for land allotment?You may visit www.riico.co.in to register yourself for e-auction or contact the respective unit head under which the desired industrial area is proposed.
How do I Register?First you should register yourself at www.riico.co.in and after successful registration you should click RIICO icon. Then again one-time registration is to be done including your personal information with project and bank information. Then participate in available plots through e-Auction process by depositing EMD.

Do I need to login to participate in e Auction?This is an online auction. You need to login and enter the live auction to participate.

How do I view details of a specic auction?You can click on the 'View Documents' link against an auction to view the details of the auction. It will include site plan, location plan, terms and conditions, publication notice, etc.

How do I view the auction of plots of a specic unit?You can lter the list of auction. On the top-left corner of the page, select a unit from the drop down menu and click on the “View” button. The list will display the auctions of the selected unit only.
What is a live auction?A live auction is an auction which is being conducted at that specic date and time.
Can I participate in more than one auction?There is no limit on the number of auctions you can participate and become successful bidder.
How do I view all the auctions in which I have participated?On the homepage of the website, go to 'My Auction' tab. The list will display all the auctions in which you have participated and corresponding details of each auction.

What is meant by EMD?Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) is required to be submitted to participate in an e-Auction. The EMD amount for each auction is decided by RIICO. EMD is adjustable to the total premium of land of the allotted plot, in case, the highest bid is approved in favour of the bidder. However, it would be forfeited, if after bidding successfully, the successful bidder refuses to purchase the plot. In other cases, it will be refunded.
What would be the mode of payment of EMD?The EMD will be deposited online through RIICO payment gateway before participating in e-Auction.

Can I cancel a bid which is already submitted?No. Once you have submitted your bid, it cannot be cancelled or reversed. Will I be informed when a bid is placed by any other bidder on the auction/s in which I have participated?Once you have participated in a bid, you will be notied on your registered contact number and email Id whenever a bid is placed by any other bidder. However, name of the bidder will not be disclosed.
How do I know that I am the highest bidder?When the bid is closed, the highest bidder will be notied on his registered mobile number & e-mail ID.

20. What are the payment options available in RIICO?At present, 25% of the total land premium amount is to be deposited before allotment and remaining 75% of total premium amount is to be deposited in 3 or 7 quarterly installments (interest bearing), depending upon the total land premium. The allottee may also opt to make payment of remaining 75% of total premium amount within 120 days from the date of issue of allotment letter for which no interest will be charged.

Whether land allotment is on free hold basis or lease hold basis?RIICO allots land in 99 years lease basis.
Whether the title deed for the developed plot allotted, will be made available to entrepreneur after the allotment so as to get nancial assistance?Yes, the lease agreement will be made available to the entrepreneur after allotment and execution of lease agreement so as to get nancial assistance subject to clear all outstanding dues of the Corporation.
What is the rate of Service Charges and when it is payable?The rate of service charges varies from industrial area to industrial area and revised every year. It is payable annually
Can plot be mortgaged for availing loan from Bank or Financial Institutions?Yes. RIICO also provides Term Loan up to 75% of the cost of land for purchase of Industrial Land in RIICO Areas on interest @ 12% per annum with 2% rebate for timely payment and repayment up to 5 years with no premium on prepayment. Minimum Loan size is Rs. 100 lakh.
How much water would be available for manufacturing and other uses? What are the charges and rate of water?As per permission received from Central Ground Water Authority, Delhi, RIICO can provide water to industries for non-industrial use, subject to availability of ground water. Allotment of land will not be made to the water intensive units.The present water slabs on the per month consumption basis are as follows:1. Upto 15,000 litre - Rs. 38.50 / 1,000 litre2. 15,000 to 40,000 litre - Rs. 61.87 / 1,000 litre3. Above 40,000 litre - Rs. 74.25 / 1,000 litre
Will gas be available in industrial area? Industrial use Gas to be provided by the authorized City Gas Distribution (CGD) companies and Common Carrier Companies in certain industrial areas

Which Building Regulations shall be applicable for construction in Industrial plot?RIICO Building Regualtions-2018 (amended from time to time) shall be applicable for construction in Industrial plot.
What is minimum built- up area requirement for considering utilization of the plot?At least 20% of Plot area on ground or 20% of BAR specied for the plot for complying commencement of activity criteria.
How much construction Area is allowed in the Industrial plot?Construction is allowed after leaving set-backs provided for Industrial plots (see RIICO Building Regualtions-2018). Maximum construction - BAR (Built-up Area Ratio) is allowed as per location of plot on Right of way of Road as below:
