History and MissionFounded in 1934, Beekley Corporation has evolved into the world leading supplier of simple innovative medical products that help imaging, surgical, and radiation therapy professionals save time, improve accuracy, enhance communication and provide a better patient experience.

Beekley introduced the X-SPOT®, the fi rst ever professional skin marker for diagnostic imaging in 1984. The X-SPOT® replaced a variety of makeshift methods used at the time for communicating an area of concern on fi lm. It quickly became a staple in radiology departments across the country and its quick adaption in all radiology modalities led Beekley to devote itself to the research and development of simple, low cost, disposable products that would help imaging professionals improve communication, productivity and patient care.

With scored edges for easy application, TenderTouch™ sticks consistently to the thermoplastic material for up to 8 weeks and provides a durable marking surface for crosshairs, fi eld borders, leveling lines and other marks that will not fall off during treatment.

The effects on surface dose of the TenderTouch™ foam adhesive material is minimal and could be ignored in most clinical situations. In particular, the incremental change in surface dose for this material relative to the effect of the thermoplastic is not considered clinically signifi cant in mostforeseeable situations.
