INSERT SLIDE SHOW AT THE END OF THE PRESENTATION
You can conclude your presentation with a slide show of a series of images.
To do so, you need to add a slide carousel to the last slide in your presentation.
A slide carousel is a collection of slide show images that is saved in a separate PowerPoint file. Each
slide is programmed to be shown for five seconds.
IMPORTANT: The presentation and the slide carousel must ALWAYS be saved on the same
computer.
Guide:
Download the slide carousel and save it on your computer.
Open the presentation you want to add the slide carousel to and go to the last empty slide in the
presentation.
Click the slide, click the ‘Insert’ tab and then click ‘Shapes’.
Under ‘Action buttons’, select the empty square (the last symbol).
Enlarge the small square that will appear on the empty slide (the square can fill the entire slide).
A pop-up window will appear. Select ‘Hyperlink to’.
In the dropdown menu, select ‘Other PowerPoint Presentation’.
Select the slide carousel you have saved on your computer, and click ‘OK’.
Select the square you have drawn on the slide.
Right-click the mouse and choose ‘Format shape’.
Click ‘No fill’.
Before closing the window, select ‘Line color’ in the menu on the left and click ‘No line’.
Click ‘Close’.
When you open your presentation in Slide Show view, the slide show will start automatically when
you click on the last side. Make sure you test this before your presentation!
IMPORTANT: Every time you save your presentation to a different computer or device, you must
integrate the slide carousel in the presentation again. Otherwise, you cannot be sure that the
presentation still links to the slide carousel.
