    n Efficiency: Average 4 yards per play

    continually change from week to week.

    n Keep Your Game Plan Small Quality Reps - You can expose players to a greater variety of fronts,

    stunts, twists and blitzes in practice.

    In a game situation having a small package allows your team to getinto a rhythm by repeating plays.

    What is Inside Zone?

    The inside zone play is a mid-tempo run to daylight play designedto block multiple fronts with vertical push and lateral stretch. Thisplay can hit anywhere from playside B gap to backside D gap.

    Why run Inside Zone?

    n Can be run from multiple formations.

    n Can be run using multiple personnelgroups.

    n Can be run against multipledefensive fronts.

    n Sets up play action.

    How do you run InsideZone?

    n QB opens to 5 oclock, drives theball deep to the TB, then bootfakes away.

    nTBs footwork is lead-open-rolltracking his inside leg to theoutside leg of FSG, press the holemid-tempo to the heals of the OL,make cut based on movement at

    the LOS.

    n Playside (Drive Mentality)n Outside or Head-up shade = Drive Block -

    Attack the inside V of the neck and dont let DLcross your face

    n Inside shade = Base Flipper Shoulder blockwith an upward strike. Lift man, drive and keep

    gap arm free.

    n Backside (Reach Mentality)n Inside or Head-up shade = Reach Block - Hat
