InsideNews Message from the Vice Principal

Respected parents, valuable teachers and dear students,

Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahe Wabarakatahu,

This is how time flies; Alhamdulillah! we have already come to the end of the first term of our new academic year. It is rewarding to see everyone settled in their own campuses, all set to learn. I would like to appreciate the efforts put in by our high achievers in their O-Level exams 2011-12. Congratulations! Well done dear students.

The administrative skills of our student council, both at the Girls Campus Society as well as the Boys Campus Society, also call for appreciation. One can witness a marked improvement in the discipline of both the campuses. May Allah SubHanahu help them in becoming our future leaders. Ameen.

Jazak’Allahukhair, dear teachers and parents. Without your support and efforts none of the above could have been achieved.

Let us now take a break to think and reflect upon our vision, which is...

...To seek the pleasure of Allah Almighty.

Before we get into any thought process regarding achieving our vision, let us go through the following references:

“Say (O Muhammad ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص): ‘If you (truly) love Allah, follow me! Allah will then love you and forgive your sins.’ And Allah is All Forgiving, All Merciful.”(Sura Al Imraan)

“None of you will have faith until he has more love for me than for his parents, his children, and all humanity.”(Al-Bukhari and Muslim)

“Doing a little of the Sunna is better than striving hard in innovation.”(Ibn Mas`ud RAA)

It becomes quite obvious from the above references that in order to achieve our vision, we first need to inbuilt in our hearts the love of our Prophet Mohammad ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص as without it, we will never be able to......seek the pleasure of Allah Almighty.

The love for our Prophet ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص demands us to bring about a positive change in our lives following his footsteps. Let us get into the prompt habit of following his sunnah on day to day basis, which will surely lead us into achieving our vision.

Following the footsteps of our beloved Prophet ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص will also help us excel in all our roles, along with creating a balance between them.

Dear students, at this point I would like to bring your focus to your role of a student. Second term is about to begin and we expect you to put in your best effort in your studies. Study regularly and make it a set routine. You need to develop a passion for learning which will ensure your growth and will enable you to think intelligently, act well and above all thank Allah سبحانه وتعلٰى for His numerous blessings.

May Allahسبحانه وتعلٰى guide us all, Ameen.والسالمVice-Principal
