• Hard-boiled eggs• Egg dyeing kit or traditional egg dyeing recipe

• Containers to hold egg dye• Glitter in character-corresponding colors

• Glitter glue• Embellishments (e.g. wire, colored tissue paper)

MATERIALS

Prep each dye to correspond to the base color of each EMOTION. Follow the dye

instructions according to the kit or use the traditional vinegar and water recipe.

Build details using additional glitter colors and embellishments like wire (Fear’s head and

Sadness’s glasses) and colored tissue paper (Anger’s flames). Allow each layer to dry.

STEP 4

Add base characteristics such as hair and general clothing to each corresponding character’s egg

using glitter and glue.

STEP 3

Dye each egg to match the color of each EMOTION. Allow egg to fully dry.

Print on thick paper. Have an adult help you cut out each egg holder along the red dotted line. Cut small notches on the white dotted lines. Wrap the holder around and insert notches into each other. Secure connection with tape. Place your decorated eggs into the holders and enjoy!
