As a new year begins, I wanted an informative way to communicate with you. Therefore, Facemyer Air Conditioning and Heating is proud to send you the first edition of our company newsletter.

On a quarterly basis, we will produce a publication that will include educational

information on the Heating and Air Conditioning (HVAC) industry, system maintenance tips, a customer review, employee biography, and a valuable coupon on our products and/or services. Serving our customers is both a passion and commitment for me. I have been in the HVAC business for 35 years, having first learned the business in Sanford, Florida from my father and my uncle. I founded Facemyer Air Conditioning and Heating in 1997 with the same business philosophy employed today. The company is a family run business that is locally owned and operated. We live and work in the same community as you. A stellar reputation is very important to all our employees. If you have called our office and needed something handled quickly and efficiently, you have spoken to Ellen, our Dispatcher.

Ellen has been in the Air Conditioning and Heating business for over 14 years. She is an instructor for the Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA) Apprenticeship Program. She has worked in the industry as an installer and service technician. For Ellen, it all started by working for her father who owned his own HVAC company.

Ellen studied HVAC at Westside Tech where she graduated top of her class. She has an Associate of Science in Industrial Management degree from Valencia Community College. She is back at her alma mater continuing her education currently studying engineering.

On a personal note, Ellen likes to play cards and board games. She has a dog, two cats and a fish tank! In her rare spare time, Ellen likes to fish, listen to all kinds of music and loves comedy movies.

RECIPE CORNER

A Football Game Favorite — King Crab Appetizer

2 (12 ounce) packages refrigerated biscuit dough

1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened 1 (6 ounce) can crab meat, drained 2 tablespoons mayonnaise 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese 1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese 2 tablespoons thinly sliced green onion 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce 1 pinch paprika

Directions 1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Lightly grease a 12 cavity tartlet pan. 2. Divide rolls in half and press into the prepared tartlet pan. Set aside. 3. In a large bowl, combine cream cheese, crab, mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese,

Cheddar cheese, green onions and Worcestershire sauce. Spoon 1 teaspoon of mixture into tarts and garnish with paprika.

4. Bake at 375 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes, or until light brown. These freeze wonderfully. Just reheat before serving.
