NetWorker is a product that allows for the backing up and recovery of data across your entire network.

In order to ensure that Softek Storage Manager’s archiving, and archive deleting commands work properly, you must now configure your NetWorker server and NetWorker Clients. Doing so allows for the necessary communication between Softek Storage Manager Agents, NetWorker Clients, and the server machines for both Softek Storage Manager, and NetWorker.

There are two procedures that must be followed to configure NetWorker properly:

1. Mounting and configuring NetWorker devices

2. Configuring NetWorker Clients

" To mount and configure a NetWorker device:

1. Navigate to your NetWorker Main Window. Typically, this can be found by clicking Start>Programs>NetWorker Group>NetWorker Administrator.
