FACTS & OPINIONS

The stones also stop them from bobbing up and giving themselves away when they’re stalking prey in the water.

In order to smash up the food they have eaten, alligators and crocodiles swallow stones.

Both alligators and crocodiles cannot chew food before they swallow it, as their teeth are only designed for grabbing and tearing.

There are many similarities between alligators and crocodiles.

Alligators and crocodiles should only be allowed in confined spaces to ensure the safety of other creatures and humans.

Their ferocious teeth seem ready to rip apart anything that gets near.

In addition, they are the worst kind of reptile.

Most people think they are evil water dwellers and a nuisance to humans.

Alligators and crocodiles are very scary creatures. They are always lurking about in swamps and rivers looking mischievous.
