Welcome to the Jigraphy 2016/17 Football Map of the UK & Ireland

This ingenious puzzle starts as a jigsaw. Once finished, 150 numbered footballs appear on the map, each one representing the location of the home stadium of every team in England’s Premier League, Championship, League One and League Two, plus Scotland’s Premiership and Championship and the top divisions in Wales, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

Each ball is coded with a border colour representing the league in which the team plays and the balls are coloured in the teams’ current kit colours. All of the information is up to date for the 2016/17 season, but if you really get stuck, the solutions are inside this booklet.

So here is an example: This is ball number 17:

The black border colour on the ball tells you that this is an English Premier League team. The colours inside the ball tell us that the team play in red and white. From the map, you can see that the team play in North London. All you have to do is work out the team using that information!
