Gila River Casinos is proud to support the 18th Annual Native American Recognition

Day (NARD) at Chase Stadium on Saturday, June 11.

The first 20,000 fans to enter the stadium for the Diamondbacks vs. Miami Marlins game at 7:10 p.m. will receive a D-backs tribal baseball cap. Before the opening pitch, the Gila River Gaming Enterprises (GRGE) Board of Directors will be recognized on the field, along with members of Native American royalty and D-backs community partners. Teams participating in the annual Diamondbacks Inter-Tribal Youth Baseball & Softball Tournament will also receive recognition for their

work in providing team-building activities for Native American youth.

There are 21 federally recognized Native American tribes in Arizona,

each with a unique history and culture. To provide a glimpse into

these cultures, Native American drum groups, dancers and

vocalists will entertain the fans. Native

American artisans will demonstrate crafts

and traditions practiced by the indigenous people of Arizona for centuries. The Heard Museum of Native

Cultures and Art will provide activities and interactive displays for all the children in attendance.

GRGE is grateful to once again work with the Diamondbacks to promote NARD and

highlight the important contributions Native Americans make to the Phoenix area.

a time to reflect on the past, a time to look at what lies ahead. It’s graduation time.

I congratulate all the recent graduates among our Gila River Casinos Team Members and their families. It is a remarkable achievement, whether you are a graduate or a parent of a graduate. The entire Gila River family is proud of you.

Graduation signals new beginnings and our education never really ends. I encourage you to continue the lifelong journey of learning. GRGE values your skill, expertise, and dedication.
