Your role: ▪ Reporting to the Engineering Manager, a vacancy has arisen for an Instrument Technician Assistant / Apprentice within the Engineering Department ▪ Main activities of the role will be calibration work, servicing of production printers, calibration of test equipment ▪ Conduct site IT activities as and when required. ▪ This role is suitable for someone with a keen interest in IT/ IS, Electrical Engineering and Computers. ▪ You should be willing to spend some time at other Company locations when required for familiarisation training of IT / IS Systems. ▪ The role is full time Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week Your profile: The ideal candidate will have: • Preferably qualified in Performing Engineering Operations and BTEC Engineering NVQ level 2 qualification. • Preferably NVQ level 3 in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or equivalent in Computer Science. • Minimum of 5 GCSE qualifications including Mathematics, Language, IT and Science at grades A – C. • Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal and presentation skills • Time management skills and multi-tasking abilities • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, with willingness to learn new software and systems • Self-motivated with keen eye for detail is important in this role. • Team player capable of working across various department. • Full drivers licence or working towards passing their test Instrument Technician Assistant Plant Blaenau Interested?
