William has more than several years working experience in the banking and financial industry, especially in financial management work such as performing compliance work with regulatory bodies, i.e. the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) and the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA), operating, developing, and disseminating knowledge about financial decision making and monitoring financial performance in the banking industry.

William has further widened his career path by incorporating himself into professional training, enhancing his teaching quality and efficiency by attending the formal training about the preparation of the QP exams hosted by HKICPA. William was a qualified Enhanced QP facilitator in the HKICPA, QP marker, and also a mentor under a mentorship programme of an accountancy body.

Currently William has been teaching Corporate Finance for HKICPA Module B and Final Exam for many years and would be teaching Strategic Management Accounting under the CPA Program®.

Alvin is currently a practising CPA who is regarded as an all-rounded professional accountant as he possesses over 19 years experiences in domain of financial reporting, corporate finance and restructuring, management consultancy, Hong Kong and PRC tax planning, as well as audit and assurance.

Alvin is very familiar with the latest changes and development in the Hong Kong Financial Reporting Standards and familiar with the PRC and Macau accounting standards as he is a Practicing Director of a fast growing CPA firm in Hong Kong, with offices in Shenzhen and Macau, who is implementing all these rapidly changing standards in his daily practices.

Alvin is determined to be a successful professional exam trainer; for the past 15 years, Alvin has taught numerous exam courses in papers related to financial reporting, cost and management accounting and corporate finance and has taught in ETC since 2010. He was a trainer with another leading professional training institute in Hong Kong for teaching HKICPA courses such as the Conversion Programme. He is a multi-faceted trainer, able to teach multi such as HKICPA QP, ACCA and now CPA Australia.
