ICC Austria - Turkey is under negotiation. Interest is signalled but no agreement signed.
ICC Austria - Serbia is also an open offer.
ICC Austria - Egypt : the negotiations and contacts have been stopped due to the political situation.
ICC Austria - India is an open offer but some details need to be sorted out.
ICCs from a very active ICC subchair in Sarajevo are being negotiated, but also no final agreement.
After 2013 stock taking of activities (or in some cases unfortunately rather non activities) I have started a more intensive Information initiative (PETS, District Conferences, President Conferences, etc.) in order to clarify the details of ICC and to motivate clubs to engage.

ICC REPORT 2014 - Austria and Bosnia-Herzegovina
It is worth mentioning that Austria participated in the Peace conference 2013 at the Lake Ochrid in Macedonia with good initiatives by turkish friends and the attendance of senior Austrian politicians with high moral standing in the Balkans as well as the attendance of PRIP Kalyan Banerjee, with whom I discussed action in Vienna before the meeting. It is the firm intention of Austrias Rotarians to continue the peace supporting work in the Balkan region. If and how it could be linked with the mediterranean peace work of Italian, French and Turkish Rotarians remains to be seen. 3. Important activities in progress / Actions importantes en cours Apart from the rather local initiative to raise the ICC profile and to reenergise/establish living and possibly vibrant ICCs I want to mention that I have been contacted by the initiators of the Plus Europe Conference to take place this year in Brussels. I have strongly supported this initiative, could not participate personally but have asked PDG Elmar Marent (a former international senior civil servant) to participate for Austria. I will adress this point at our meeting to get a common position how ICC or the International Road of Service of Rotary could be positioned in this very specific European initiative. Having spoken to a number of european Rotarians I consider the answer to this question as very important and look forward to share views with the ICC community. After many years we are planning to have an Austrian ICC conference again - planned in early July- in order to inform the club representatives in detail. I have been at this years PETS and so the next information step will adress the ICC chairs in the clubs. 4. Any financial problems with ICCs / Problemes financiers des CIP Not really. Occasionally there are cross issues with future generation exchanges, but clear budgeting will help. The acting DG has - accepting my proposal - introduced a dedicated budget for the ICC work as well. Special projects need the usual project budgeting. Comments/Observations Looking forward to this conference in Milano I hope we will adress the role of ICCs in the intercountry dimension as well as in the global dimension (EU, US, India,eg).

COORDINATOR’S REPORT / RAPPORT DU COORDINATEUR
Coordinated countries / Pays coordonnés: BULGARIA PDG Kalcho HINOV - National Coordinator
ICCs Bulgaria - Very Brief report 2013-14
This year we have a long holiday in Bulgaria, 1st to 7
th May. Most Bulgarian Committee Chairs are
away. I was traveling in the past 3 weeks: Africa for the Rotary Meeting “Reach out to Africa” and
other meetings. It was possible to speak only with some of them.
So, at the moment, I can give you very brief information.
We have 11 (eleven) ICCs: Bulgaria-Canada, Bulgaria-Serbia, Bulgaria-FYR Macedonia, Bulgaria-
Romania, Bulgaria-Greece, Bulgaria-Turkey, Bulgaria-England, Bulgaria-France, Bulgaria-
Holland, Bulgaria-Zimbabwe, Bulgaria-Russia.
Most of them stay in contact. Some have regular meetings and plan activities, projects, youth
exchange.
Two examples:
Bulgaria-Canada
Rotary Clubs from Bulgaria with Rotary Club St. Catherine’s Canada with support from the
districts had very successful projects: computers and training for blind children and adults in
Plovdiv, Bulgaria and training for children in schools about negative effects of drugs and promoting
sports for children and young people in Samokov, Bulgaria.
Bulgaria-Russia
Very active program: meetings of the national chairs; meetings of twin clubs and cities; new twin
clubs; articles about the activities in the local Rotary Magazines in Russia and in Bulgaria (the
Rotary Magazine in Bulgaria is a joint Magazine: for Bulgaria, Serbia, Montenegro and
Macedonia); painters meet and paint together (organized by RC Plovdiv-Puldin and RC St.
Petersburg; bowling tournament; planning of new projects - a park for children with disabilities in
Novosibirsk, etc.

ICC REPORT 2014 - Israel
Report on the activities of the ICCs- District 2490 Israel - Rotarian year 2013-2014 Israel-France: Chair Rtn
Tova Ishai of the Hasharon-Hertzlyia RC.
Organization of trip to Euro Disney, Paris of children suffering from cancer. This project has been
successfully planned and the children are travelling to France during the month of May 2014. RC Hasharon-
Hertzlyia members have generously contributed to its realization, together with more local Rotary Clubs.
The Bnei Brith Organization of Paris are generously providing accommodation to the children and the
accompanying parents during their stay in France. On April 30th, 2014 the RC of Hasharon-Hertzlyia
organized a reception in honor of CP Ms Marianne Frenkel, Chair of the ICC France-Israel, and the members
of her Paris Club who had come to Israel for a tour. CP Frenkel expressed her interest in establishing a twin-
city in Israel. The Israel-France ICC was also very much active in the organization and realization of the
Rotary Institute that took place in Jerusalem in November 2013.
Israel-Serbia: Chair PP Hanan Haas of the Kfar Saba RC.
The ICC organized the visit of agronomist Aleksa Ajzdanovic to greenhouses in the Negev and Aravah.
During the Rotary-Lead-Peace Conference that took place in April 2014 in Israel, they met with the Serbian
representative Alexander Mitic. They also gave their support to the harpist Jaqueline Miloshwitz, who
played at the Rotary-Lead-Peace Youth Conference. The ICC is currently checking the possibility of
establishing a twin-club. During the Jerusalem Institute of RI which took place in November 2013, a
renewed agreement for the ICC Israel-Serbia was signed in the presence of the District Governors of Serbia
and Israel. Chair Haas also hosted the Serbian delegation in his house. At the end of March 2014, the ICC,
with the help of Rtns Reuben Cohen and Yoel Fisher, organized a tour of Tel Aviv- Yaffo for a group of
Rotarians from Croatia.

postponed to September 2014. During the Rotary Institute held in Jerusalem last November, the ICC held
two meetings with Hungarian representatives. On the Independence Day of Israel on May 6th 2014,
Rotarians will be guests at the official reception of the newly appointed Hungarian Ambassador to Israel
H.E. Dr. Andor who is very appreciative of the Rotary Organization and has expressed his wish to cooperate
with RD 2490 Israel on various issues. The ICC also took care of organizing the accommodation of 3
Hungarian girls who participated in the Rotary-Lead-Peace Conference in April 2014 at the homes of local
Rotarians as well as of the relevant logistics (they enjoyed a private tour of Tel Aviv- Yaffo as well as
transportation from and to the Airport)
Israel-Poland: Chair PP Shlomo Bronher of the Ramle RC.
The activities of this ICC and the relations with Poland are developing at a very satisfactory pace. The
Rotary-Lead-Peace Conference in April 2014 provided the opportunity to establish contacts with the
President of the RC of Szczecin who in interested in finding Israeli celebrities who were born in Szczecin in
order to establish a corner in their honor in the Szczecin museum. This is a joint project of Poland,
Germany, Russia and Israel.
Israel-Belgium/Luxembourg: Chair PP Gad Kahan of the Haifa RC.

Comments/Observations Being GETS Coordinator at Jerusalem Institute I added my contribution to the ICC GETS materials, slides and presentation and I will be opened to repet this operation in the future . At Jerusalem GETS the ICCs training Sessions (45 min each ) include English , German and French class .also a sesion for DGNs training in English .
Being a training leader, I continous sustain the importance of training in the developing of the ICC.s in our Rotary world .With no suficient informations for a DG, DGE and DGN, about what is their role and responsabilities regards ICC`s and which are the windows that our ICC`s can open, it will be very difficult to be efficient .
. During my training at the International Assembly in 2011 and 2012, always,
when the disscutions were about international service and how to find partners , the
ICC`s were mentioned .
In my country Romania ,during one Rotary year, we have 4 meetings which
coagulate the acctivities of all ICC`s that we have .
- 32 -
ICC REPORT 2014 - Romania and Moldova
The first one, is usually in September and we call it - ICC National Meeting
and Seminary-;it is a session where after a general presentation of ICC` S ,
every chair, reports and presents his activites in front of the representants
of every club . At the end, we have an answers and questions session . The
time line is one full day for this activities .In the last September it was at
Baia Mare in the north of Romania . We were honored by the presence of
our Chair of the Executive Council Gianni Jandolo and IPChair Tony
Polsterer.
The second meeting, is during PETS , when we have a special session
where the ICC `s materials and slides , will be presented to the elect
Presidents . Usually we have one hour reseved for this meeting.
The third one, is during District Assemblies, where the clubs representants
will be informed about the program , about each of one of the existing ICC
and how to develop the activities .
At the District Conference , we have always a presentation about our
achivements during one Rotary year ,where a few ICC`s chairs are invited
to describe the most important activities. If there is someone who wants to
share a message, it is a good opportunity to do it at the main Rotary event
in the District .
Now we are working on our web site , where we have info about all our
ICC`s , ICC`s chairs and their contact data .It will be better if we will have
informations and details about every individual ICC sent regulary by every
chair, to actualize every national session .We also permanently have a ppt
with general info regards ICC` s, which was presented at the last ICC`s
seminary .
Regular informations about diferent ICC`s meetings , activities,
anouncemens, invitations etc are sent to the clubs by our District
secretary.Myself and our chairs have the responsability to comunicate with
the clubs using the District Secretary chanel .
- 33 -
ICC REPORT 2014 - Romania and Moldova
On the Governor oficial letter, newsletters, facebook there are always
informations about our activities .
At the Rotaract District Conference Rotaract PETS and the other rotaract
meeting, ICC`s are always present with a presentation and invitations . This
is very important, specialy to strenghton our relation with rotaract ,with a
long term effect in our membership specialy becouse our goal is to have a
minimum 15 % of our members from Rotaract .
At the end, I want to conclude and to say that the role of the
ICC`s in finding partners for humanitarian and service projects, developing
peace and understanding, exchanging ideas ,intercultural exchages and
cooperations, developing twinings clubs it`s unic and sustainable .
Specialy now, when our Foundation go forward in a new era ,when
partenering is esential for new type of grands, the ICC`s can open many
esential windows, making easier our way to the future .
So the devoloping of ICC`s and the extending of our network in all our
world is esentialy. Don`t expect that someone will came and invite us in
.We shoud keep our unity, continuie to promote, and to fight to extend
our program everywhere; in this way, sure, we`ll succed ,for the future of
Rotary , for our future .

ICC REPORT TURKEY – FRANCE 29.04.2014
I am Emre GEZGIN , president - ICC FRANCE / TURQUIE,
We have decided to open a new page to give speed to relations between Turkey and ICC
France that has been going on slow ( or ineffective) for a long time.
Primarily, to do this, we found necessary to address the issue in a methodical perspective
after creating an action plan.
We focused on two main elements .
1) EFFECTIVELY ESTABLISHING TWIN CLUBS BETWEEN TWO COUNTRIES
- ETHNICITY & CULTURAL AFFINITY
Focusing on the clubs whose members are Turkish origin.
Determination of the members who are French-speaking or who have cultural or
professional ties with France.
- DEMOGRAFIC SIMILARITIES
To give priority to cultural and economic structure similarity
- THE EASENESS OF TRANSPORTATION FACILITIES
Focusing on the cities which have transportation facilities directly to Turkey.
- COMMON INTEREST FIELDS - CLUBS DES LOISIRS - FELLOWSHIPS
The mutual coordination of hobby groups.
2) PREPARATION FOR A GROUND OF GLOBAL GRANT PROJECT BETWEEN THE
TWO COUNTRIES
- TURKEY - FRANCE AXIS
Targeting the clubs whose members are Turkish origin.

- PARTICIPATION OF THE COMMITTEE MEMBERS IN THE UR SYDNEY
CONVENTION & 2014 CASABLANCA ZONE 20B INSTITUTE
Evaluation of the opportunities created by international organizations.
Our methodical approach to the subject has responded quickly and has provided the
following improvements.
I met with Rtn Alain DEGAND, President of ICC France – Turkey at Valenciennes on 8th
March and we organized a special rotarien metting with participation of Rotary Club
Valenciennes. IAt the meeting, first I gave a general information on the history of the
Turkish Rotary and afterwards on the club and the membership structures.
I talked about our “Light” Project after I had made an explenation about the comitees of
“Future Leaders Coming” and “Rotary Means Business” that are unique to our country.
We gave speeches reinforcing the decisions and activities we have made that you can see
below.
Ensuring the full coordination between the Fellowships. Invitation of our group of Sailing
Hobby.

between the dates 07 – 11 May.

ICC REPORT 2014 - Turkey
With that, I believe I am able to promote an INTERNATIONAL understanding among the
ROTARIANS........
İn order to promote CONTACTS & FOSTER stronger ties between Rotary clubs and TO
CREATE a CLIMATE to establish friendship among the ROTARIANS ICC has a GREAT
role.........
According to me , HUMAN touch is much more stronger and effective then WORDS
Written on a piece of paper!!!!! I am a firm believer of this.
To accomplish this GOAL , I made a visit to D. 2100 . I have visited the Clubs Beginning
from NAPELS to almost Reggıo Calabria.... I Attended their mtgs , had Dinners, organized
private mtgs with the presidents and I gave many presentatıons .......
I received THE GREAT Rotarıan welcome and friendship which Gave me profound
Energy to continue!!
Following the invitatıon by the " Med. peace İnitiatıve " I had a very fruitful meeting Wıth
Enrico Paratore.(reggio Calabria R.C )
I spend thıs year to reach the other İtalian DISTRICTS ,..(. İtaly has 13 DISTRICTS!!)
Considering the fact that they had no contacts with our R.Clubs prior to this date , I had to
mail over and over in order to establish friendship!!....unfortunately , some clubs were so
slow to answer and to cooperate...
I became a member of their DISTRICT WEB SITE (D. 2100 /İtaly. )and I continuously
shared projects and news of our Rotary...
I wrote an article in their " Rotary Magazine " which Was greatly appraciated by all And
received lots of comments.....
I put a strong emphasis on the " Twin Clubs " ; as of now We have seven Turkish R.
Clubs requesting to have " Twin Clubs "which has been announced in D. 2100 Web Site.
Kusadası RC & PALERMO " Teatro del Sole " became TWin Clubs. We will have an
exchange visit next year....
Our Dıstrıct had a proposal from the RC CROTONE and several CALABRIA R. Clubs to
visit our District which will be organized next year....
As a result of their interest , I am in the process of organising a Friendship Exchange with
Italian..........................
I was the Host Rotarian and tour GUIDE for our guests during the INST 20-B in
Kusadası.....
we had an invitatıon from PALERMO T. Del Sole Club .... I am working on the issue!!
During my stay in New York City I attanded to " Brooklyn Bridge " RC mtgs , fot two
Weeks I had a special session introducing İCC......
