Interactive Product Design: A Relationship between people and mobile/wearable technology Through exploration of sensory input and output with Lego Mindstorms, we created an interactive model and a working prototype of our mobile technology. Our prototype is a blanket designed for children afraid of the dark. The blanket consists of a single light output that will activate when squeezed and stay lit for a few seconds before fading out. In addition to the interactive night light, two corners of the blanket also contain sensors. These are squeeze activated touch sensors that connect to sound output (lullaby) when individually squeezed. Through exploration of sensory input and output with Lego Mindstorms, we created an interactive model and a working prototype of our mobile technology.
