Design Concept:

The design concept for this client is to design the interior of a ranch style house with ADA requirements for an older couple that is down sizing into a smaller home. They like to relax, watch TV, and read. They still have family that visit frequently and like to entertain, mostly in the kitchen. They are keeping some furniture and need room at least for their grand piano and a space to sew. They would like a French country look with bright whites and light colors.

To make the master bath ADA compliant I chose hardware that was easy to function and meets the ADA guidelines. Sink handles that are easy to grab, shower systems with complete temperature control. Built in shower seat, and 18’ grab bars in the shower and by the toilet.

Objective:An optometrist who has his own practice, that includes eyeglass-dispensing services, is relocating to a bigger building to accommodate his growing business. He requires a functional space to meet the needs of his busy schedule and to optimize space and time potential.
