Información general El Departamento de Proyectos y Cooperación Internacional de la Municipalidad de Valparaíso fue aprobado por el Alcalde y Concejo Municipal en Octubre 2005 y se encuentra bajo la Dirección de Desarrollo Económico y Cooperación Internacional del municipio.

General Information The Department of Projects and International Cooperation of the Valparaiso City Hall was approved by the Mayor and the Municipal City Council in October of 2005, Since then it depends on the Direction of Economic Development and International Cooperation of the City Hall.

Misión Consiste en retomar las relaciones internacionales existentes y crear nuevas instancias de cooperación, así como expandir los vínculos internacionales con especial énfasis en actividades que involucren las áreas de Patrimonio, Cultura, Turismo y Educación, entre otras.

Mission Its task is related to reactivate the International relations that already exist and to create new instances for the cooperation, like to expand the international links, giving special care to the activities which involve areas as Heritage, Culture, Tourism and Education among others.

Visión Nuestra visión es posicionar el quehacer internacional como una herramienta eficaz en la gestión municipal, estableciendo contactos directos entre los distintos actores internacionales que interactúan en Valparaíso, como también, promover la ciudad en el exterior para el intercambio sociocultural y empresarial de la comuna y de sus habitantes.

Vision Our vision is to locate the international work as an efficient tool in the municipal administration, establishing direct contacts among the different international actors which interact in Valparaiso, as well as, to promote abroad the city to a socio-cultural and business interchange of the city and their inhabitants.
