Introduction
The successful design and construction of internal concrete floors has many challenges.
This seminar brings together a variety of informed professional views on the keys as-
pects required for the successful delivery of internal concrete floors.

This seminar will be essential for those who are involved in the design, specification
and construction of concrete floor slabs including industrial and commercial buildings.

specialist sub-contractors and ready-mixed concrete producers. Clients and those who

Technical Report 34
Concrete Society Technical Report 34 Concrete industrial ground floors is recognised
globally as a leading publication giving guidance on many of the key aspects of con-
crete slabs. The 4th edition of TR 34 was published in August 2013 and is the result of
an industry review of all aspects of floor design and construction.
