International transfer students who have completed a minimum of 18 semester hours (or 27 quarter hours) of post-high school college level coursework are also eligible for a Trine merit-based scholarship. The cumulative college GPA is determined by averaging the GPA from all institutions attended by the student.Note: International transfer scholarships are for undergraduate students only. ESL and graduate students do not qualify.Note: International students are not eligible for financial aid.
The chart at left excludes expenses for dependents and living expenses and tuition for the summer. Students are responsible for their tuition and fees upon registration. Tuition charges are assessed based on the full-time status for which the student is enrolled. Book fees are not included for the bachelor program.
Note: Payment is due during orientation and registration.
How to ApplyINTERNATIONAL ADMISSION 1. Submit the international admission application online.

2. Send the required documents (below) to Trine University. You may email unofficial copies to [email protected] to begin the application review process.
TRANSFER STUDENTS Post-secondary or university records: Records should be in English and include courses taken, grades received and degrees or certificates earned.
CONDITIONAL ADMISSION If you do not have the minimum TOEFL or IELTS score or do not submit a test score, you will be considered for “conditional” admission and must first complete English courses at Trine University’s English Language Center.

iv) English Proficiency Requirements: International students must provide a score from the TOEFL or IELTS. The minimum requirements are: TOEFL IBT: 71 IELTS: 6.0 with a minimum of 5.0 in each section SAT or ACT Scores: If you have taken either the SAT or the ACT, please send your scores. ACT code is 1250 and SAT code is 1811.
