SESSION 1: EMPOWERMENT COACHING - COACHING AS A TRANSFORMATIVE PROCESS FOR FUTURE READINESS We live an era where the only apparent stability is instability. Decades of job security disappeared, and no organization can guarantee a job for life. Businesses are experimenting a complex and different reality, Words like, commitment, communication, have different meanings for the diverse generations coexisting on the working place. On the last decade global teams, with different cultural backgrounds and languages have taken over the traditional working space. In these scenarios, the best way to maximize and maintain a high performance organization is transforming the working space trough a Coaching Culture that will empower the full potential of the organizations. The IAC® definition of coaching is that "Coaching is a transformative process for personal and professional awareness, discovery, growth, and the expansion of possibilities. When we speak of “a transformative process for personal and professional awareness,”the awareness is already present as essence. The job of a coach, through the coaching process, is to accompany the client as he awakens to his essence and empowers himself.

JOSÉ MANUEL “PEPE” DEL RÍO Pepe joined International Association of Coaching (IAC), a professional coaching body in early 2004 and currently serves as the IAC President for 2018 -2019.Pepe is a Career and Executive Coach, with 30 years’ experience in business. In the 25 years of hisearly career, he was a trainer, specialized in executive and career development for outplacement,downsizing and career transition processes.His clients consist of entrepreneurs, CEOs and Senior Executives from the Fortune 500 companies, and also executives from over 25 countries seeking to empower their careers.

SESSION 2: OPEN SOURCE LEADERSHIP AND THE FUTURE OF COACHINGIn the new “open source era”, leaders need open source coaches. Yet, many coaches are still focused on listening skills, and finding your purpose. That’s not the future of coaching. These four trends define what coaches need to do to keep up: (1) Understand the technology and the ecosystems within which leaders reside; (2) Become an expert in an area of practice; (3) Help leaders solve their toughest, most complicated problems; (4) Foster the development of a coaching culture in organisations.

PETER JOHN WEBB Peter has over 30 years of experience leading individual, group, and organisational change, and over 4,000 hours of experience in executive coaching across Asia Pacific. He is a founding member of the International Society for Coaching Psychology, and the University of Sydney Coaching and Mentoring Association, a certified member of the Australian Psychological Society’s College of Organisational Psychologists, and a licensed Psychologist. Peter is currently Head of Coaching for Human Capital Consulting, and Director, Research and Curriculum for The Iclif Leadership and Governance Centre, based in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia.

SESSION 3: HR AS COACHING ENABLER As HR Professionals our raison d’etre is to support the Business in delivering results. With today’s organizations awash in a sea of continuous change where new skills are needed to run businesses, from the front-line to the C-suite, one way HR can make an impact is to play the role as a Coach. HR driving the coaching agenda covers not only for Business leaders but for their high potential team members as well. HR professionals who can infuse a coaching mindset and skills throughout their organization creates opportunities for development, at every level. SInce coaching via HR takes place in real-time and on the job, it is then relevant to every facet of the HR function and individual's particular needs. The end result is, they help create an overall more resilient organization. In this session, focus will be on how to balance the people agenda alongside with the business strategy and priorities.

DEVA PARAM Deva is the Managing Partner for TPC Leadership SEA and based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He is very experienced at both strategic and operational HR, leading, training, consulting, coaching and mediating in the government and private sectors. He has managed HR Departments and coached Leadership teams in various industries and organisation cultures and has been working with leaders at all levels to help them grow and make their potential a reality. His work has taken him to many places across the Region (SEA, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Pakistan etc) His regional experience and working for Global companies makes him a very open person who accepts diverse people as they are and works to help them be their best.

MICHEL GAGNE Dr. Michel Gagne is a Member of the Oxford Association of Management in the Grade of Certified Doctor of Business Administration and a Grand Doctor of Philosophy with the International University of Fundamental Studies of St-Petersburg, Russia.Dr. Michel is a Founding Fellow of the Harvard Medical School Institute of Coaching Professional Association (USA) and a Founding Fellow of the World Society of Sports & Exercise Medicine (WSSEM).Dr.Michel received the 100 Best Global Coaching Leaders Award at the 2017 World HR Congress in Mumbai.

DR SARAH HOWLING Dr Sarah Howling is a certified executive coach, supervisor, coach trainer and facilitator. She is an experienced international school Principal and has successfully created thriving organisational coaching cultures, building increased individual, team and organisational capacity. Sarah graduated university and began her career in IT recruitment and banking before training and qualifying as a teacher in 1996. Since then, she has worked mainly in education, in England and internationally. Sarah holds an MBA and a Doctorate in Social Science, with her research inter ests being leadership, learning, emotional and cultural intelligence, coaching and wellbeing.

SESSION 8: LET’S GET DIGITAL: ENHANCING YOUR COACHING EXPERIENCE TO BOOST PERFORMANCEIn these VUCA times, high-paced responses are not just nice to have, but it is tremendously vital. People face challenges in adapting to the disruptions that are occurring around them, be it personally or professionally. A coach could help drive higher performances by providing guidance and support. With digitalization, there are no boundaries to the accessibility of a variety of coaches and worldwide coaching resources. The coaching process can begin instantly, at little to no costs and at your own convenience. We will discuss on how we can leverage technology in coaching, to mitigate the turmoil by developing agile people.

ANUAR ROZHAN Anuar Rozhan is the CEO and Managing Partner for HCMI South East Asia and Pacific Office, head quartered in Kuala Lumpur, with 30+ years of experience having worked in the Oil & Gas, Telecommunications, and Automotive industries covering a range of roles from Marketing and Sales to logistics and Planning, Transformation as well as HR. Anuar has held many management positions at the C-Suite level in companies as well as preferred advisor and coach in his consulting capacity. He is certified by the International Coach Federation and attended HayGroup’s advanced coaching programmes. Anuar’s exposure to different work cultures and business roles whilst on cross posting stints in the UK and Australia, as well as here in, Malaysia, coupled with his experience as both HR practitioner and Consultant has enabled him to give both Business and HR advice to clients that is practical and implementable.

SESSION 10: SHARING SESSION - COACHING FOR THE VISUALLY IMPAIRED BY DR WONG HUEY SIEW, CHAIRMAN, SOCIETY OF THE BLIND IN MALAYSIAToday, it is common for organisational or society to have engagement in coaching. As such, coaching is getting more popular and widely used in practice including the special needs community. Probably, Could the visually impaired persons becomes a coach? Are they able to demonstrate the competency of coaching? The main purpose of this paper is to present you a show case study in which; the first certification of coaching courses for the blind in Malaysia. It initiated by Centre for Coaching and Mentoring International, Teamcoach International through Society of the Blind in Malaysia (SBM). In fact, this is a pioneer coaching certification project for the blind in ASEAN region. The discussion will be focus on how the idea came about, who will involved, background of the participants, teaching method, assessment and the way forward of this pioneer project. Finally, this session also provides some interesting feedback from the coachee perspective on the blind coach through their practicum session.

DR WONG HUEY SIEW DR Wong Huey Siew is a senior lecturer at OUM. He also a social activest among the visually impaired community. he served as a chairperson for several main committee in National Council for The Blind Malaysia (NCBM) and Society of The Blind In Malaysia (SBM). he was a National Disabled council bers which appointed by the government from 2012-2016. He has won the National Exemplary Employee (Executive) Award 2014 for the OKU category. He had been served in several private higher learning institution and enterprise. He always invited by various party to give motivation talks. Now, he is a senior lecturer at OUM and he served OUM since 2007, Dr Wong was former Deputy Dean of Postgraduate Programmes in the Faculty of Applied Social Sciences. Currently, he is one of the programme directors.

SESSION 11: DEVELOPING A COACHING CULTURE IN AN ORGANISATIONA coaching culture is where the predominant style of Management and Leadership is committed to improving and developing the people. It starts with a belief that organization’s performance will be improved when we achieve it through people. Coaching culture within an organization is a culture where not only formal coaching occurs but also where most people use coaching behaviours as a means of managing, influencing and communicating with each other.In this session Shan will share the key success factors, challenges and suggestions to develop a Coaching Culture in Organisa-tions
