INTERNATIONAL COOL CLIMATE WINE SYMPOSIUM CANADA · 2020 JULY 12 – 17, 2020 Please join us in Canada, at Brock University for the 10th International Cool Climate Wine Symposium from July 12 - 17, 2020. Situated atop the picturesque Niagara Escarpment in St. Catharines, Ontario, Brock is home to the Cool Climate Oenology and Viticulture Institute – otherwise known as CCOVI – an internationally recognized institute focused on addressing the research priorities and knowledge transfer needs of the Canadian grape and wine industry. Together, CCOVI and its partners comprise the 2020 ICCWS Organizing Committee, which is developing engaging programming that includes rigorous scientific content from the foremost experts in viticulture, oenology, wine business and science communication. The wide range of programming at ICCWS will serve to examine how adversity drives innovation to achieve success across the entire value chain of the grape and wine industry. With ever changing conditions within the grape and wine sectors — including fluctuations in consumer preferences, global economics and fragile ecosystems — the research community must be nimble at responding to challenges in order to sustain their industries and support growth. It is from these challenges that new opportunities arise to strengthen the place of cool climate wines in the international market. ICCWS delegates will be introduced to Canadian wines and local culinary offerings through a number of special farm to table dinner options at local wineries, a “Taste of Canada” event and banquet dinner at Brock University. They are also invited, through pre- and post-conference programming and excursions, to visit our diverse wine producing regions across Canada. The unique regions, in British Columbia, Nova Scotia, Ontario and Quebec, span hot, cool and cold climates. JULY 12 – 17, 2020

Please join us in Canada, at Brock University for the 10th International Cool Climate Wine Symposium from July 12 - 17, 2020.
